Maki Tall: Olympic Team Hopeful

    I started a site last year called "DMV Soccer" which covers teams and players from the DC/MD/VA area. We just did our first ever "DMV's Finest" piece where we interviewed Maki Tall of the u20 National Team. Maki says his rehab from a broken toe injury is going well, and hopes to be back to full fitness and playing for his club FC Scion in September. He also says that he hopes to make the squad for the 2016 Olympics. Check it out and let me know your thoughts, feel free to share. Thanks!

    I liked what I saw on the U-20s. He had a gliding running style that reminded me a lot of Costa Rica's Joel Campbell. He looks like he's running at a certain speed, then he "cranks it up" at the time the defender arrives. It leads to mis-timed tackles and potential penalty kicks. He screws up defender's angles....
