Major Allocation

    J/C if we have ever had a major allocation? I don't think we have but my memory is fuzzy sometimes. What is the high transfer fee the league has paid for a Wizards player?

    Reason why I am asking this becuase I think all of the foreigners we have received came over on a "free".

    Igor cost us something in the way of a transfer fee. It wasn't terribly much, IIRC, but I don't think he came on a free.

    Lowe just cost us the friendly with Rochester, IIRC.

    Diego would say that the friendly cost a lot. Wasn't he the one that got the elbow in the face after that game?

    no, that was a USOC game. We sent all the scrubs for that friendly later on that summer.

    not only did we do that, we brought in several pittsburgh riverhounds as well.

    And then the Crapchester fans bragged about beating an MLS team.
