You can also read the transcript of the Mail Call Web Chat with R. Lee Ermey that took place way back on July 6th here.       -G
As mentioned earlier, the same episode will air both today and tomorrow.       And don't forget that this is a one-hour episode (instead of the usual half-hour episodes). -G
Season 4 begins this coming Sunday (1/11/03).       Also, catch the full-page interview with him on page 16 of the January 10-16 issue of TV Guide (in stores now).       -G
      R. Lee Ermey will be hosting The American Veteran Awards on the History Channel this coming Sunday (2/8/04). -G
Today's the day!       I think that there's also a new episode of Mail Call today as well. -G
According to the right quarter of this banner... ... the Season Premiere airs this coming Sunday (7/11/04). -G
It seems that the series moves from Sundays to Tuesdays... or at least it does for the next two weeks (according to my TiVo). -G
Tonight's new episode features R. Lee Ermey's tour of the Marine Corps Training Command Center, a.k.a. 29 Palms, the largest Marine Corps base in the world. -G
Ermey did mention that the marines there sometimes called it "The Stump". Incidently, the "29 Palms" name was derived from the Southern California town the base is located near, which in turn was named after the amount of palm trees surrounding the oasis the town's original founders had found there. -G
I'm surprised this show is still on the air. I used to watch it all the time when i first premeired, then after about a year or so it seemed like all the good questions were answered and they were left with obscure ones like, "Of all the Borinqueneers in Korea which one was the most decorated?" or just dumb ones like "What do you have to do to get the Medal of Honor?" Not the mention R. Lee's act got pretty stale.
