The bad news: CBS decided not to renew the show for a fifth season. The good news: NBC then picked up the show. However, as of this posting, the network has only ordered 20 total episodes (i.e. 10 per season) to air over the next two seasons, which is roughly half the episodes that each of the previous seasons had. And the delay has caused production for this season to only begin this fall, meaning that this season will likely only start airing sometime in early 2023 as a midseason replacement.
