From what it seems they are using Magico not as a real assistant coach but he will learn some experience from Israel, have the right to give his opinion to Israel as long he's not disturbing the team, but mostly from what it seems they wanna use him to teach the players how they can improve their attacking and technical ability by learning from Magico.

Here's an article where they made it seem like that, which isn't a bad idea.

I got the impression that he will serve as in the NFL, they have the 'offensive coordinator'. He will be an assistant which is great idea. I'm sure Magico will influence the guys greatly and bring a sense of togetherness. We now have Tuco, Pajarito, Rugamas and El Magico. All great footballing leaders in our country. Not great coaches but that's why we have Ruben Israel. Excellent news!

Yeah, well one of the first 3. There was this video up before mine and then I found a huge torrent with two hours of footage and the rest is history. I was only turning 15 or 16 when I made those videos. I'm not turning 21. Crazy how time flies.

My pop's told me about the first time he ever saw Magico.

There was a big deal about this man called Jorge Gonzalez who was just signed to ANTEL with pajaro Huezo. At the kickoff it was Huezo and Magico. First touch by Huezo and the game begins, a little tap back to Magico and Magico touches the ball for the first time with his new team. From the half field mark magico wines back and shoots from half field, he scored his first goal with his first touch...The beginning of El Magico Gonzalez.

Seen this question elsewhere but I want to get some answers here. Why doesn't Magico travel with the NT abroad for friendlies or wcq's?

Just frustrating to know how much better he could have been without all those distractions.

I've seen quite a few videos of this guy. He seemed to be like a faster version of Maradona with a little bit of Ronaldinho. I love his elasticos that go in the air, and the elastico with the outside of his boot. I haven't seen anyone else do these tricks.

He wasn't just a dribbler though, he could take free kicks and had great shooting technique, scoring lobs and the one where he almost scores a back heel but the defender saves it with his hand.

How fast would you say he was? Like Kaka? Or Slower?

Guys like Magico, Recoba, Gascoigne annoy me, they have a ridiculous amount of talent but wasted it with their bad attitude and lack of discipline.
