This doesn't make any sense. Gyokeres value should be lower when compared to when he joined Arsenal and they already had an opening bid of 150M for Julian.
Liverpool owner FSG in talks over selling 30% stake to Bhatia consortium for £1.35bn Bhatia backed by father-in-law Lakshmi Mittal Minority stake deal values the club at £4.5bn https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2...-in-talks-sell-stake-qpr-co-owner-amit-bhatia
And Gyokeres has to agree to the move which I find very hard to believe. Alvarez wants Barcelona and it will happen sooner or later..
Hope he sells to Lim and Lim gives up Valencia.Although that's as possible as the tooth fairy being real.
They are the next big shots. Anderson especially impressed in the world cup with a similar role as Rodri.
Even if the players succeed, there's going to be a new day at City without Guardiola. Although I believe in Maresca and he comes Directly from the Guardiola assistant system.
The FIFA Team of the Tournament was chosen by fan vote. That's why Martínez is in the team instead of Cubarsí.

Here's something I noticed. Coaches that worked on tv for an extended period of time hire assistants and staff that worked on tv as well. Not necessarily with them, just in the same space/capacity. It's happened a couple times this summer and it's being set up to happen again. Many see the sport being analytically driven, but I personally see coaches going in different directions. Some are calling up former players/team mates/people who's space in the football ecosystem is in the same space, and you have coaches on the other side of the spectrum going on a university tour hiring guys out of the lab and the general athletic space like Flick and Xabi did.
Cristiano Ronaldo probably pays Thomas Muller to say this, vile human being 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/7Jf79D2pgl— The Nassr Tribune™️ (@AlNassrTribune) July 22, 2026 هذي اللقطة الي مولر يصيح عليها 😵😵😵😵الاخ زعلان لأن ميسي اعترض على كنترول اليد pic.twitter.com/ApabfjBiY2— Abdulaziz. (@U433U) July 23, 2026
Reminds me of 2024 when Bayern claimed the tie vs Madrid was rigged because they found a real Madrid bag in the referee locker room. Müller was part of that choir back then. Cute.
38 is a lot. They will probably keep 30 max. 🚨FACT: Chelsea currently have 38 players under contractThey can only register 25 players for the Premier League this season pic.twitter.com/A2KdzzqXGB— Polymarket Sports (@PolymarketSport) July 22, 2026 9 of those 38 are 21 or under so wouldn’t count towards that 25 player number. So that’s 29 - a total of 4 players Chelsea have to sell or loan.— SuperSanchez (@CFC512_) July 23, 2026
Matthias Sammer with quite the statement. Saying he'd rather play like Argentina than "redefine being helplessness/harmless the way Germany does right now". I can imagine the old generation that branded itself on being tough physically and mentally to feel like they have nothing in common with the current generation of players.
