I'm no ran of Mourinho at all, but getting Amorim after what happened to United would have been even more ridiculous.

 

He turned the tide at United, just the effects of his work came later and someone else got the credit. Hes a great footballing mind and still one of the most talented young managers around. Its an excellent move by Milan imo.

 

I'm not writing him off for Milan, but there is no way he could work for us at this point.

 

By January the club will have its social media people linking him to Madrid - Mou was just the only headline grabbing name Flo could get before the season ended to distract the fickle fan base with a rusty old toy but make no mistake he’s only here because nobody will care if he gets fired the week after the World Cup ends and better options emerge.
