I have no issue with calling the foul on Raya. My issue is with all the other fouls in the box (going both ways) which are consistently overlooked.
Palace also get a 10 million bonus on Eze if Arsenal win. Makes no sense for them to win a dead rubber game at the price of 10 million.
It was the winning goal against UTD at the start of the season. Consistency is something that doesn’t exist in refereeing. at least this season.
Milan 0-3 Atalanta. Juve (68 points), Milan (67), Roma (67) and Como (65) fighting for 3rd and 4th spot in Serie A with two rounds left. Napoli has 70 points with a game in hand.
Ironically once the wing situation was kind of sorted out with Vini, Rodrygo, Fed, etc. that was the point a player like Jovic was needed (is needed instead of Mbappe now). But when he arrived post BBC there was no wingers to provide service and he was stuck on the bench anyway behind Benzema.
Jovic wasn’t ever good enough to play here. For some reason the club decided to spend $60m on him. My guess is there must have been a kickback or some favor that was owed.
Lots of one hit striking wonders; Nuñes, Vlahovic, Osimenhen, Gokyeres that teams slobber over that are pretty poor. More flops than successes.
He was absolutely fantastic and there was legit interest around Europe for him. The red flags were the attitude, the player had the same issues in Portugal, just struggled to fit in. At Frankfurt multiple players had a private friendship with him so the talent flashed, but as soon as he joined Madrid the struggles from his time in Portugal resurfaced.
What part of your post changes the fact that Jovic wasn’t good enough to play here? Sure, as I said lots of one hit wonders make noise for one season and then flop once they make a move.
That he was actually a very good player but entertained a lifestyle that wasn't going to work out well for him at that level. The player was every bit as good as he needed to be, you just need to watch the kind of football he was playing to come to that conclusion.
Vuskovic all but confirms that he's leaving Hamburg at the end of the season, says he will show a different level next year. Definitely going to be one of the summer's hottest transfer candidates in the spot.
Tottenham aren't selling him if they stay up. He cost they 13m as a 16 year old and has yet to play a game. If someone offers something stupid like north of 50m they might consider it.
60 million is considered the current projected value, at least that kind of the going rate Bayern are looking at.
John Textor had an approach to invest in Eintracht Frankfurt turned down, the club refuses to take on investment fund/multiclub ownership resources.
Can't see Bayern going near that amount, Spurs hold all the cards if they stay up, they literally have no reason to sell.
