Ronaldo scoring 4 hatricks vs simones aleti when no one else has managed one, with 4 freekicks is hilarious.
Every season we seem to and we get told all the time how much we suck compared to them by people on here.

Sponsorship revenue for Uefa’s club competitions set to break €1bn barrier Sponsorship income due to rise by more than 40% Champions League clubs to benefit from the growth The forecast increase in commercial revenue exceeds the significant growth Uefa has already achieved from selling the first block of TV rights for the 2027-31 cycle, and would take the governing body’s annual earnings over €6bn, a significant increase on the current figure of €4.4bn. With Uefa currently allocating 74% of its prize fund and 56% of its club competition revenue to Champions League clubs, and 17% given to the Europa League and 9% to the Conference League respectively, the commercial growth will mean the biggest clubs cash in. Broadcast rights in the big five European markets were sold last year, with a 20% increase in the UK and 30% in Germany, followed by the Netherlands and Japan last month with tenders currently live in 21 other territories. With Uefa projecting that TV rights valuations will exceed €5bn-a-year, the growth in sponsorship deals will take their annual commercial earnings to over €6bn. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...a-club-competitions-1billion-champions-league
So used to Negreiralona refs in La Liga that he's now claiming clear offside given by VAR was onside. 🚨⚠️ Barça president Laporta: “In the first leg, we didn’t get a clear penalty and we got a red card when it had to be red on Pau Cubarsi’s foul”.“Then last night, the red card to Eric García was wrong. Comical how so many were making fun of Barcelona last night then ended up crying about refereeing conspiracies a few hours later. At least the Catalans have local domination.
I’ve said it before, both clubs and fan bases, love that victim “it’s real rigged” mentality while having literally every advantage over the competition, especially in Spain
Another player the club would have done well to go after instead of wasting so much time and money on Mbappe. Needed players who can create and more importantly “fit in” with the existing core of players.
I don't know. I can't recall ever seeing Diaz play anywhere except the same position as Vini Jr. And Luiz Diaz scored the big goal but didn't have a good two legs. Looked like the shot was going to be easily saved too if not for the deflection. His soft pass for the 4th goal was sweet, though things were a lot easier at that stage of the match.
Results of La Liga teams in Europe this season are really puzzling. One can easily see Atleti beating the first-place team in England and getting into the CL final. Meanwhile, the team just two places below them in La Liga is getting molested at their home by Freiburg. And the team one place below them is like, 'Hold my beer', and gets smashed by Braga. Not to mention Villarreal's disaster in the CL league phase.
Anyone here looking forward to the Bayern v PSG tie? It looks to be an action packed matchup of the two best teams. I think the winner of that tie will win the UCL.
Yeah his finishing is far from elite and his final ball is not elite either but dude is a winning player. High work rate, ability to take on players, can score, is selfless he is on the second tier of great players instead of the first, but he is the kind of player you want on your team because of all the attributes he brings and allows and helps others to shine
True, you need players, especially forwards, like that if you want to play a suicidal high line like Bayern. Probably a top reason why Barca were going after him a year ago.
Yeah, PSG - Bayern is the real final. In a way its good that they meet in the semis, so we get two legs instead of one. And they'll play with a bit more freedom than if it was just a one leg final, which could make for a classic. Meanwhile the other semifinal will be intriguing but not really expecting entertaining football. As I mentioned in some other thread, CL finals are typically not great, but rarely can you confidently say it won't be great 6 weeks before its even played.
I want Bayern to win big. Not only would it make Madrid look good, it would also stop PSG from going b2b.
