I think that ARSEnal's "Rugby-Scrum-For-Long-Throws-and-Set-Pieces" system has been exposed. Limit their set pieces near the area, and keep their counters to a minimum, and what else do they have? Earlier this season when Munchen lost to ARSEnal, it may have been a bit more novel, but ARSEnal's gametapes are out in circulation by now. At the same time, the Bundesliga is over, so like Q$G most seasons, Munchen's energies and attention can be focused on the UCL. Neither Barça nor ARSEnal nor Q$G can focus on the UCL in the same way that they can this year.
Bayern who were struggling in league under Tuchel beat Arsenal rather convincingly in knockouts. Arsenal might win PL, but don't see them beating Bayern if both reach the final.
Experience plays a huge part in finals. Bayern will manage it well, Arsenal probably not so much. Plus Kompany appears to be a manager who looks at the fine margins so will account for their set piece threat.
They still have good defense. Probably the best in the game today. And literally their last two PL matches were a 1-0 win and a 2-1-win with both goals from corners. I don't see much evidence that Arsenal's system has been figured out. Too soon to say. The EPL race could go all the way to the end or could quite realistically be over on 19 April. It won't take much more for City to fall out of the race. I don't know if Bayern's situation is so ideal either - playing dead rubber games for weeks if not months with only one meaningful match v Atalanta in between and then Real Madrid. I've seen that kind of schedule work against them in the past more than once.
Logic doesn't apply to a competition where a Real Madrid with the club practically in full crisis mode beats Manchester City up their head with a rubber duck repeatedly. In fact i would say real Madrid's own recent history proves that everything and anything is possible here.
Cristiano Ronaldo having 4 hat-tricks in UCL knockout stages is just insane, especially when the closest to him is Messi with only 2. It's even more impressive that he scored those knockout-stage hat-tricks with two different teams.
🚨 Zé Roberto: "I failed at Real Madrid because I played PlayStation until the early morning, ate badly and slept very little." Incredible guy. Apparently traveled to Greece to talk to Olympiacos and left unhappy with the training facilities. Funny enough I've grown fond of a couple bayern players that played with a lot of negative energy towards Real Madrid after meeting them recently. At the end of the day it's incredible what a kids game can turn us into.
A damn shame, he was an amazing player. Also one of those players I could never dislike back in the day.
Glad Ze Roberto was at Leverkusen till 2002. A player like that at Bayern could have turned 2000 and 2002 ties against RM in their favour.
Well done Everton. City out with a strong line up. Need them playing at their maximum. This could probably be their line up on Tuesday. 2 strikers, only 1 winger.
What a moment at the end the Arsenal game. Final minute of the game, and with the Everton keeper up for a corner, Max Dowman who is only 16 years old, and is still actually in his last year of school, ran with with the ball from 30 yards from his own goal and scored.
Premier league race is over. City still has the cups but I expect a desperate fight from them when we go to the Etihad
Could play into our hands. City will be leaving gaps all over the place on Wednesday. One goal from us and its tie over.
yep, even he if scores over 1000 goals i would never pick him over sureaz, benz, henry r9 etc. he rarely shines in big matches and only if man city are cooking. He has zero magic or invention to score a goal out of nothing to turn a game when he team isnt doing good.

Not at all. He's just a pure striker. Team playing crap and no service, he's not going to look good at all because all he does is score. Doesn't really contribute anything else. Which isn't a bad thing and can be exactly what a team needs.
