I like how the responses are just a line of beneficial decisions for Madrid. When Real Sociedad had a player given an additional game of suspension before playing Real Madrid, i didn't see anybody complain. Or anybody drive a campaign that Rüdiger should have been suspended for multiple weeks for that shit that was VAR checked, but apparently him knee slamming folks in their head is cool. Madrid has received a very kind whistle this year, lets leave it at that.
I would be really happy to know what excuse the referees will make up for Pau not getting a red for this.
It was a huge controversy at the time that Dean got a red for that since Militão was also involved in the play, it wasn't a last man foul nor a DOGSO, and every single one of us here and elsewhere were livid at that decision at the time because we knew it wasn't a red card-worthy offense. In the case of yesterday, yes, Cubarsí trips up Inaki, definite foul worth a caution. The ball was also pretty much at Garcia by the time the foul occurred, Garcia was winning the ball and about to clear it. It wasn't a DOGSO by any definition of the term. That wasn't worth a red card. Two wrongs and all that shit, just because Gil Manzano made a shit call months ago doesn't mean other referees are obliged to make similarly shit calls later. But since yesterday's referee was the same referee who gave Jude a red card last year, I'm sure all the pitchfork-driven BS has been brought back to the surface...why waste time doing new "research" when you already did it 13 months ago, right? F*ckin' A...
Rüdiger should be serving a 4 match ban, complaining about the officiating given that background is pretty insane to me. Especially ifyou include how loose the penalty whistle has been for Madrid this year to the point where it's become a meme in daily life in Spain. I feel like it's been pretty ok this year, but like with injuries, we're the only ones effected. Boohoo. Smallest violin in the world.

It wasn't a red card because Garcia had the play covered. The Athletic player wasn't getting to the ball before Garcia. So it was not considered a last man DOGSO.

Even if the reports are true, Barcelona made the correct call by not bringing Messi back. The club had to move forward and allow players like Lamine/Raphinha to take on leading roles.
Xavi sounds like he wanted Messi around to save his job. The team performed a magical turnaround on tight margins and he wanted to bring back lord "touches nothing that is not gold"
Lol not one of them actually has hands and they basically just flail ot widly kick. So different the culture compared to US. We actually had to learn how to fight young (well those of us who grew up on a certain financial level lol) so by the time we were in college or above we not ony had the strength but the aggression and some sort of skill. That doesn't apply for all because some grew up well off and didn't face such adversity but for the most part in our football we have dogs.
Explains with US soccer is so bad, must have been spending all that time learning how to fight I guess? Whatever the point there was.

Yet they're "hard men". Always cringe. Feel the same when our own players like Vini do that. Yall can't actually fight, stop it lol. Now in our football. Dude swing on you with the helmet still on
