Spurs are finished. I’d be very very surprised they are not relegated considering their run in.

They will have to fire their manager again to have a chance. Should still survive if they get the right guy to replace him. But its gotta be soon.

I don’t think they have the time to bring in a new manager and change results with the same team. They’ve changed the coach, changed formation, changed the lineup. The players are at a very low level.

And whoever decided to bring in Igor after his disastrous managerial career to date should also fire himself.

He's a great defender but is susceptible to rash challenges..

Spurs should bring in Big Sam Allardyce to bring in that 19th Century football, and will Spurs to survival.

Spurs going down while Arsenal takes the title? That would be epic. I don’t actually want to see anyone hurt. I just want to see Arsenal fans filled with even more joy. I am a nice guy. I just want some people more happy than others.

    Yeah I can't have that.

I really don't know why but seeing Arsenal fail repeatedly makes me genuinely happy.

Tottenham get relegated and Arsenal lose the league on goal difference in the final matchday, now that would be epic.

Arsenal conceding on a corner in the last minute to lose the league on goal difference - chefs kiss.

In reality, I don't care who wins the PL title. I don't like any of teams in England. I just want somebody very unhappy. That will be the Spurs fans this year. I cannot really say it.... makes me an evil person. :)

Not that I really care who wins the EPL, but I'm always hoping it's not Man City. This in turn made me "root" for Liverpool or Arsenal for a couple of years now. Arsenal has disappointed me so many times that at this point I want them to fail just because they failed me so often :ROFLMAO:

What's fascinating is Arteta doensn't even come from a conservative football culture. He created this on his own.

I think Pep will definitely quit if City doesn't win a major title for a 2nd year in a row. So I'd rather Arsenal win.

Depends, would you want Guardiola building another headache elsewhere? Figure it's best to let the good stay good and the bad stay bad.

Each of the games involving the top 3 PL teams this week had a huge and wrong call by the ref/VAR.
    1. Not sure how that NFL tackle by Martinelli on a Brighton player in his own box wasn't called. Could have made it 1-1.
    2. Haaland clearly fouled when he was 1-on-1 with the 'keeper. Could have made it 3-1 for City.
    3. Second yellow given to Newcastle player for diving which didn't look like a dive. Of course, the Geordies scored twice with 10 men so it didn't hurt them, but if a ref is going to give a 2nd yellow card for diving, he has to be 100% sure IMO. Especially in the first half.

Nothing VAR could do about #3, but what good is it if they can't reverse #1 and 2? #1 was easy for the ref to miss in real time since it was off the ball, but what is the VAR looking at?

It's a matter of decision making. End of the day it's still people making the decision, so opinion will differ.

I guess, but VAR doesn't make the final decision. So, if he sees something significant that the ref wasn't looking at (case #1 above) shouldn't be at least summon the ref to have a (first) look at it? Or if he sees contact on a player and the defender misses the ball (case #2) doesn't that also warrant a second look?

Yes, all decisions - but they're not decisions based on subjective judgement, especially case #2. Contact - yes/no?

He won't be going to another club after City.

I am very much in the minority here but I now like Guardiola a lot and hope he does great in life.

He is a good lad in general. He seems to be obsessive and he has his personality flaws, as we all do, but he has been great for football evolution and clearly as a person his heart is in the right place.

Honestly, if I were a young footballer he would be an absolute dream to train under.

Found him to be cringe before his stance on Palestine. Major respect now though. Especially considering his employers as well.

I feel that way about Luis Enrique. You would think it's a total burned bridge after he went from Madrid to Barca back in the day, but he does seem to be a decent guy too.

Monaco beat QSG again yesterday. Lens can go to within a point with a win tomorrow.

Reminder we beat Monaco 6-1 a few weeks ago.

Personally haven't, but I know people that have met him and immediately fell in love with him on a personal level. Apparently extremely intelligent and charming, focuses on other people and rarely making things about himself.
