How about Leverkusen then? Thinking the Bernabeu is a gauntlet for players is an opinion for casuals.
Next you will tell me that hooligans are a good thing in football and that they are fighting against the elitism in football We need more ULTRAS
🚨 OFFICIAL: Endrick is MOTM in his Ligue 1 DEBUT. ⭐️ pic.twitter.com/UAzxjHM5Mf— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) January 18, 2026 Two solid games in a row for Endrick playing on the right wing.
Players these days overly obsessed with going viral. Brahim's going viral alright, for all the wrong reasons.
I love Bundesliga player and fans interactions. I mean i dont watch a lot of games, just highlights, but man Bundesliga seems so much fun, a lot more fun than slug-fest of EPL in my opinion.
The clubs carry a bigger social responsibility/connection for sure. The tennis ball protests changed the shape of german football for years to come. I think that stands on it's own in europe by itself.
That's very true. Things have lightened up a bit in Brazil, but there are still instances where "ultras" supporter groups will go to the training ground of their club to demand explanation from players if things are not well. Some clubs have blocked that, others the front office will actually let them in. Corinthians is one of those clubs (although they have a policy they follow strictly of always supporting the team during matches no matter what). Back in the day, when a player was enjoying the night life too much, Scolari used to ask the ultras to approach them in the clubs and bars to send them a message. Nothing physical of course, just a verbal reminder of their responsibilities. Having said all that, I don't think I've ever seen a fan base jeer a player on their own team for 90 mins straight. Mostly I've seen jeers at very specific parts of the game or when the player subs off.
So we're basically saying the players have it easier now? Now, they really don't have an excuse to not to at least put out the effort every game.
That's the problem; comfort breeds complacency. These players are in the 1% of society and they know that; hence why most act like they're heartbroken when the cameras are on but are seen laughing on the drive home. It's easy to forget the pain of losing when you're driving in a Lambo on the way to your private villa.
We scored 11 goals in 4 games without Mbappe. We didn't and dont lose without Mbappe because he is the only one that can score, it's because we cant keep out any damage goals to save our skin. We conceded 8 goals in 4 games and didn't keep a single clean sheet
Same issue as last season. 3 of our CBs are crocked. Huijsen also unavailable for most of last 2 months and weak defensively in the games he was available for post league Clasico. Sorloth bullied him during healthy phase as well.
When Boateng was recently floating a return to Bayern, their Ultras hung a huge banner "Boateng go f*** yourself". I am fairly confident Madrid would take a banner like that about Vinicius down.
Yeah, complete nonsense. He just had a moment of weakness and went with the unthinkable. It will haunt him for quite some time.
Fully agreed, I won't kick him while he's down. Disappointed Morocco didn't clinch the title, but I wish him all the best in dealing with this. Good guy, our Brahim!
Tournament wise. Like Baggio, Diaz was the man scoring in all games until the end, and misses a crucial penalty. Of course contexts are different and he's young enough to win it again. He hates himself currently. But Baggio was 30 when he lost that final.
🗣️ Ángel Di María: “On my first birthday with Real Madrid, I had some friends over. Since I invited Marcelo and Pepe, who were always with Cristiano, I decided to invite him as well.I told Cristiano he was welcome to come to my place if he wanted.
