No one underrates him at all; he literally scored 16 goals in the qualifiers while the 2nd best players only have 8 goals which include Kane and Depay. But we already have Mbappé.
Wtf is technique man. It's like saying Courtois is not good with feet. Who gives a flying f, he's the best GK in the world.
Nothing like being served humble pie so quickly. Looks like their FA will have to cancel their tickets for next summer.
Ian Wright said this on the Bellingham criticism. I really think he gets a lot of hate because he rejected the EPL and Ian alludes to this.
England's WC campaign actually has a pattern. They like to self-destruct. When thigs are going well, they will find things to fall apart. In my opinion, after going 8-0, they do have a good team, but they tend to overrate themselves. The press always finds something to go against their players. This will be fun from now until the World Cup Finals.
If Arsenal win the EPL and England win the WC (lol), I will be royally bummed because I won't have anyone to make fun of anymore..
The last time Arsenal won the Premier League, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even smartphones didn't exist. You should be okay!
Tuchel has a miserable personality when the going gets tough. Will be an absolute circus with him and English media as soon as England draw or lose a game even before KOs.
So Jude reacted just like Vini in Clasico. Terrible tbh. _______________________________ ‘He has to accept the decision’: Tuchel criticises Bellingham’s petulance in England win Bellingham reacted angrily when substituted England head coach says ‘behaviour is key’ Thomas Tuchel said that “behaviour is key” and made clear his displeasure with Jude Bellingham’s frustrated reaction to being substituted during England’s 2-0 win over Albania last night. Bellingham, who had a mixed game after coming back into the starting lineup, did not look happy when he realised that he was about to be replaced by Morgan Rogers in the 84th minute at the Air Albania Stadium. The midfielder joined in the celebrations after Harry Kane’s second goal of the evening but then flung his arms in the air and left Tuchel unimpressed. “He has to accept the decision,” England’s head coach said. “His friend is waiting on the sidelines so you need to accept it, respect it and keep on going. I have to review it. I saw he was not happy. To a certain degree if you have players like Jude who are so competitive they will never like it but my word stands, it is about standards and a commitment and respect to each other. So someone is waiting and we will not change our decision because someone is waving their arms.” Bellingham shook hands with Tuchel as he went off. But Tuchel has repeatedly emphasised the importance of the collective. “Morgan Rogers was for sure not happy when he couldn’t start today because he deserves to play for us and he wants to play all the time,” the German said. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...bellingham-england-abania-world-cup-qualifier
There's a good chance the club created this problem by giving the star players unlimited amounts of grace because they were winning so much/as a bit of a bonus for maybe not paying them as much as they do elsewhere. Hard to put the toothpaste back in the tube now. When the press came back negative about Bellingham's attitude during the last tournament, nobody really made an effort to speak up for him. That's kind of an issue here and it's not a good look. Great player, but we might have been doing the kindergarten stuff a bit too much with those guys. We'll see.
Tuchel just doesn’t get along with Jude and clearly doesn’t like him. This isn’t the first time he’s spoken negatively about him. There have already been several clashes between the English star and the German coach since the start of the campaign, including occasions when he wasn’t even called up to the squad despite being fully fit and available.
It's always the other guys fault, our players are perfect human beings. Plenty of rumors surrounding Jude and Xabi as well, but I guess we'll discuss that when it becomes concrete.
Bad managers always blame those beneath them: players, employees, users. anyone but themselves. But it’s not a comfortable topic for some people here, so we won’t get into it.
We have had dramatic personalities like Ramos and Ronaldo, but they were all time great talents who were consistent year after year after breaking out so coaches didn't have to worry about performance, substitution etc. Different scenario with some of the starters right now.
Yup, you lost the penalty shootout because of “voodoo.” My question is: if he really had “voodoo,” why didn’t he use it earlier to stop you from scoring in the first place, so the match wouldn’t even reach a penalty shootout?
Hmm Tuchel said he'll "review the incident".. I didn't watch the game but it doesn't look like he had too much objection being subbed out in the 84th with a yellow pic.twitter.com/pMHqjE1x8R— luvbellinghm media (@jb5ism) November 16, 2025
Yeah we currently have players acting like mega stars but they really aren’t mega stars. Mbappe is the only one in that category and even he is at the bottom or lowest possible point of the mega star title
Bringing up Ronaldo as an example in any kind of fashion is pointless. Nobody deserves as much rope as him and Messi. In the end, Ramos found himself abandoned everywhere. Real Madrid, Sevilla, National Team. Being a personal issue is only tolerated as long as you deliver. When you don't - you're on your own.
Well the the 'friendship FC' only works as long as the team is doing well; we saw Jude and Camavinga confront Carlo last season when we were playing poorly. But what the players won in the past doesn't make them immune or above criticism/disciplinary action.
In the best version, culpability goes both ways when things are down. Same is said when things are going good. Pat Riley has some great insight in the philosophy of winning teams that destruct based on the “The disease of me”. Look it up, it’s a very pertinent analysis that applies to the current Real Madrid.
But the administration is equally [or actually more] blameworthy; they needed to hold the players accountable during the good times and make it clear the standards they were expected to follow. The fruits of that carelessness are being brought forth today.
Someone needs to show me the video where Jude was being petulant or furious at being subbed off because it's either lies or they watching something else entirely. EDIT: Ian Wright summed it up for me. No need to say anything else
