yeah it works when your attackers are on form but you need someone at the back to organise that high line and like you said they sold their leader and replaced him with rashford lol
They didn’t sell him he left for free. In the contract extension he signed, he included a clause allowing him to leave for free to a Saudi club if an offer came in. Even if he had stayed, they still would’ve needed to bring in Rashford, because last season they barely had any injuries in attack, and now this season Raphinha has already been out for over a month.
Guys crucify me but I’m staring to enjoy watching Barcelona matches more than ours it’s such a circus lol
I don’t even count our win vs them as a massive achievement. Barcelona are dreadful and we should have scored more than 2
Osimhen having a great CL campaign so far. Incredible work rate, physicality and strength. What a player
It was multiple... It's how barca games work. So much playacting, referee pestering, etc and they benefit from so many close calls wither outright going in their favor or being blatantly overturned.
Doku (post MOTM level performance) "The difference this season is I just play free and don't think about it. I stopped caring if I lose the ball and just play off instinct and go for it" RMBS (Toward Vinicius every minute) "That dummy Vinicius keeps playing carelessly and not thinking about what could go wrong! Idiot" It's really funny how people create stories of what happened and how far it is from reality. I'm guilty of this as well but I should do better from my own experiences that what the media and moronic fans create in their minds usually doesn't match with reality.
Osimhen wins 3 UCL MOTM in a row 🤯 pic.twitter.com/eW4VpzPUA0— Janty (@CFC_Janty) November 5, 2025 He sucks though right @Seoul Villan
Never said that. I think he’s average and not good enough for Real Madrid. Haaland is a far superior player.
But why should I care if Haaland is a "far superior player" in a vacuum and ignore contextual factors like tactical or financial ones, or even individual ones like heading or pressing ability in which Osimhen is superior? Coincidentally those that we lack the most? The reason we play like an orchestra out of tune is the strategy of acquiring superior players in a vacuum rather than players that fit our needs. By the way you oughta have zero credibility with statements like "Osimhen is average". If the definition of average is "there is a better player out there in the same position", then more than half of our team is average.
Pep is only lenient with Haaland regarding workrate. He got rid of half the squad from 1.5 years ago as workrate dropped with older players. Xabi gotta deal with 2 superstars in Vini and Mbappe who doesnt press nearly as hard as the likes of Dembele, Olise, Diaz etc. And Mbappe likes to play ala Benzema dropping away from the goal though his technical ability is a notch down to be a link up player of that level. So both offensively and defensively, Mbappe Vini duo comes with a set of challenges.
your the one who keeps banging the drum that we should have signed Osimhen. He’s not good enough. End of story.
The reason we or other big clubs are not signing Osimhen is not because he can't play because quite frankly he can. It's reasons that nobody is comfortable addressing in public.
