Another view of Kylian's goal You can’t even move like this in FIFA… he’s a literal real-life cheat code, bro. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/IpvMzqhImP— 10 (@Kylian) October 10, 2025

I assume Xabi already had planned to rotate against Getafe. So many of these players with minor injuries were likely not going to play anyways. So long as they are good to go for Juve and Barca.
Getafe will be tricky. Mbappe and France took a silly risk. Mbappe got caught between chasing records and being scared of being accused of not prioritizing the national team….
Mbappe is probably fine scored his goal, played his match, picked up a knock to justify skipping the next match and flying home early
Yeah my boy is finally back. The impact of Madrid. He was a shell of himself and it took one season for the pressure and expectations of the club to re-ignite him to comeback to being what he should have always been the past years in France. Now the only thing missing is for Xabi to put our three best attackers on the pitch and finally sell Vinicius on moving to the right.
He is just lucky into these results like he lucked into multiple CLs with Madrid. Lucky bastard. Brazil need to fire him before his luck runs out and hire a true tactician who can do whimsical word salad whenever media ask him questions about play or players.
I’m not a Brazil fan but would be funny to watch them win the wc as the most inept coach ever inarguably becomes the greatest coach ever
Watching Bayern dominate German football (women), then crash 7-1 vs Barca being levels below makes me wonder if this will ever become competitive by anything but coincidence.
Nico Paz | Argentina vs Venezuela | Amistoso Internacionalpic.twitter.com/wZwiqa4p3S— El Partido (@ElPartido_de) October 11, 2025 Seems like Nico Paz is a locked in starter for the Argentine national team at this point
Someday.... I'm sure. But it's gonna be a hell a slow process. Games to go watch pro females in Mexico cost on average like 100 pesos.... That's a 5 buck entry...... Aka, your going for free (a coke inside costs 5 bucks)... Just a month ago Aitana came to inaugurate a stadium and it cost me 5 bucks to see the best female in the world play. The general ticket to the world cup for men is 50,000 pesos (around 2,500 bucks).. I enjoy 100 times more going to the woman's games then the men's even if they cost the same.... The feeling is safer, Les chaotic, no beer being thrown on your back, loads and loads of kids, it feels organized, etc ... The entire sport just seems crazy to me now. Like dystopian. If it wasn't for RM I prob would have dropped it by now.
The thing I like about Paz is his willingness to shoot from outside the box, with left or right foot. When I watch Como highlights you usually see him firing away whenever possible. He has power and placement as well.
For me personally, willingness to use your weaker foot is one of those things I pay particular attention to and rate very highly. It's something Arda, for instance, clearly still needs to work on. Especially when you're playing on your off-side, you still need to be able to play crosses or square balls, and the natural way to do that is with your outside foot. Very simply, it's a skill you need to have. Yamal can kinda/sorta manage this because he's got a killer trivela pass, but Yamal's an alien. And even with him I've seen him playing crosses on his right foot and pretty good ones at that. I feel like it's especially true with left-footed players that they're more prone to one-footedness because being left-footed is such an inherent advantage growing up, so the ones who show a functional right foot and have trust in it are the ones I particularly like. Franco has shown a willingness to use his right foot, his first goal was a right-footed goal (so was Endrick's, for that matter), I'm hoping this is something we'll see in Arda's development as well. He actually has a decent right-footed shot if that one attempt against Villarreal is any indication, but having it in his locker and being comfortable using it in games is another matter. Like, I can swing a tennis racket with either hand, and when forced to I can play left-handed if my elbow is bothering me, but I find during games I only tend to trust my left hand for trying to hit a surprise backhand and not so much for hitting forehands, even though I hit forehands fine during practice. The positive for me is that I do trust Arda in this respect, I think we'll see his right foot more as he gets more opportunities.

Colombia U20 made it to the semifinals after beating Spain Our only good player is suspended for that match though due to consecutive yellows lame
Mbappe had an ankle knock from the last RM game and did not train with France. He shouldn't have played. I fault both Mbappe and Deschamps. Let's hope he's fine for Getafe and Juventus.
Getafe is not important; I don't mind if Gonzalo or Endrick start [I know he wants to continue scoring]. But him being ready for Juventus is paramount.
The first games after FIFA virus weeks are always tricky, we just regained the top spot in the league and must maintain the momentum especially with Barcelona's injuries and garbage form. The match vs Getafe is the baby Madrid derby.
https://www.espn.co.uk/football/sto...amorim-system-barcelona-hansi-flick-high-line Bookmark this if you want to, but after the winter vacation tour of the Miami game and the Supercup they will be hobbled and soft and they'll use it as an excuse for a defeat against Real Madrid. Just book it. It's true, but it still is an excuse.
For some fans the league is not that important, just the CL, this was the mindset of many for years on here, quite happy to give up the league as long as we can win the CL
