Another Brilliant Brazil Goal! https://t.co/QEGD52Yi9o— AllThingsBrazil™ (@SelecaoTalk) October 10, 2025 Looks like Brazil went full joga bonito today 4-0 with a Rodrygo brace and Vini assist
GOOOOOOOOOOL DO VINI JR!!!! 🥶IT IS 5 FOR BRASIL!!!!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 https://t.co/lyrhUXCFQ3— Brasil Football 🇧🇷 (@BrasilEdition) October 10, 2025 Vini scores the 5th Rooting for Carlo
Images you love to see Since the 2022 World Cup, the Brazilian national team has had 10 clean sheets. 4 of them are in the 5 matches Carlo has been the coach. His team has allowed just 1 goal through 5 games.
and so did every other club besides Chelsea. Can't have them all. All other clubs "missed the boat" on Vini and Rodrygo.
Well I mentioned us because we are the Brazilian youth experts. I’m just surprised we missed that one given out r scouting in Brazil because dude has looked like a baller from day one
I don't think any club is an expert of any region. We've had success recruiting from brazil and we've had failures too. Estevao is a great young talent and hopefully develops well but i don't see it some huge loss. Now how we let Neymar slip out of our grasp (yeah Nike and laporta and all that) still stings but even that in hindsight doesn't seem that bad. Imagine having to deal with his dad every two years for renewals and shady payments.

I remember very well how much I wanted him at the time. The short version of the story is that his agent is Andre Cury, who has a Barcelona background (he's also Roque's agent and brokered that signing) and also was Vini's agent when he was still in Brazil and Vini was set for Barcelona and then a last-minute change happened and Vini went to Madrid and this pissed Cury off. So, given the combination of factors, it just wasn't really meant to be. Otherwise, with every bit of due respect to Rodrygo at the time...a left-footed right winger was pretty much what we were dying for wanting to have. Given that we were collecting Brazilian forwards like Infinity Stones at the time, on paper it all made too much sense. Alas...
I think at the time it made no sense to buy Endrick as we didn’t need a striker. While, we didn’t have a RW. Esteveo will likely be a top RW for years to come. Endrick will likely be shuttled off and eventually land back in Brazil. Just poor squad planning.
Just count how many players Kylian Mbappé dribbles past 🥵(via @FOXSoccer) pic.twitter.com/sk5Y8EbM2p— B/R Football (@brfootball) October 10, 2025 It's Azerbaijan but I can't even count how many players Kylian just cooked on his own
Endrick isn't getting play time. It's way too soon to judge. But unless he goes out on loan, his situation will only get worse and the pressure on him will intensify.
But we're they like lined up and we got to pick and choose which one we wanted? Was it either or? Are we sure had we wanted estevao he would have chosen us? Are we sure Chelsea isn't just a stepping stone to get here? Are we sure we didn't make a play for him and were turned down? I mean if we're playing that game, we got the wrong argentinian in Higuain.
He’s only getting minutes if there are significant injuries to 2 of; Mbappe, Vinny Rodrygo. Franco is ahead of him right now. Loan option would be the best thing for him. Frankly, he wasn’t the super talent some thought he was.
Believe me, in the early part of 2024, there were few things I was hoping more for than us being able to win his signature. I wasn't watching Brazilian football when Vini and Rodrygo were playing there but I was when Estêvão made his debut. Between what I'd already heard and read and then what I saw, I was as sold as could be. I've never had any doubt he's going straight for the top.
