Marcel Schäfer (RB Leipzig director) claims that while he was a football player, he stayed up for entire nights playing Anstoß, a German Bundesliga manager game (that was kind of a cult series much like Football Manager later became everywhere), just working through every detail of his club, buying Bundesliga review magazines to scout players since the game had no license and players and clubs had fake names. Oh Darwin sucks. But it’s more the arrogance and disrespect to two players that, even in Darwin’s case, were part of your success and the assumption that the new toys are SO much better that it’s the “greatest upgrade ever” No matter how you spin it, that post is not aging well and we should see if it ever does
Bayern had Muller is SS/AM role for 15 years. Would have been easy adaptation for Wirtz in that system without leaving the country. Sane went to Bayern from City. Wirtz might go sooner.
When your father yells at the coach in front of the entire team that they did you a favor to be there, it's an awful look. Maybe he's a better father than agent, but my experience is parents make awful agents for that reason. The team is playing better without him right now but he just wants his son to play. He's become a joke in German football media and is dragging his son along with it.
I mean, you see their point to some degree. Dortmund must have had a plan for him before signing him, it’s not like Jobe did them a favour by being there. If the club doesn’t have a plan for him, he wasting his time being there. I think the whole environment is wrong and will probably cut losses in the summer and he moves on.
He's just not good enough. A second division player in England, so it's no surpise he's not pulling any trees out in Germany. Dortmund signed him for the Bellingham gimmick, but the player simply isn't special.
Wow Sevilla playing really well. Barca have been defending for 25 mins. Another chance should have been 3-0.
