    And Atletico don’t have the balls to sack Simeone aswell.

    Last min penalty saved him. That man looked like an absolute wreck on the side line the whole time. He needs to learn to present himself better. The players can’t look over and see their coach with absolutely zero confidence. The players, other coaches, they need his leadership not a big ball of nerves who can’t stop looking at the damn ground. Has he always been like this? Because in my experience people like that never ever make it in top athletics, which is all testosterone and bravado and machismo.

    If it’s too much pressure for him he should go to a smaller club and try again after a few years when he’s more experienced.

    Second weekend in a row I found myself watching an Atleti game. Something has gone wrong in my life.

    But who do I see warming up for Alaves? The legend Mariano Diaz. Btw, Atleti looked abysmal yet again. I watch our games and our fans are so angry at our performances and then I watch Atleti and think if we played like that the fans would probably just leave the stadium and never come back. 1-1 FT

    They played Spurs off the park. Iraola doing a good job there. Woeful by spurs though. I know some folks here like their new coach but they looked awful today. One of my faves Kudus signed with them so I’ll be watching them a lot more this season.

    Newcastle v Leeds pretty boring first half. I’m switching to the Bayern - Augsburg game. Bundi plz show me some good football.

    if you’re a good attacking player it must be fun to play for Bayern in their German league. Things look so easy on most days. You can score goals, you can get assists. Diaz scored again. Kane has been magnificent this season so far.

    Atlético have had their worst start since Simeone arrived, with only 2 points out of a possible 9. The squad this season is stronger than last season, especially with all the new signings that came in. If we win today, you could say they’re out of the title race. Hopefully they’ll show better performances in the Champions League.

    Isak surely on the way as well tomorrow.

    Newcastle made a bid to sign another striker. The guy from Wolves I think. Surely the Isak think will happen. Liverpool loading up.

    They will probably dominate PL for a decade like Man City did. CL is more unpredictable with 5-6 strong contenders in a decade.

    How does that fit with the fact that you don’t stop whining and claiming that the other teams are stronger than Real Madrid and that it has no chance of winning anything?

    2 out of 9 against Levante, Elche and Alaves is terrible by any standard you may apply.
    Safe to say they won't be anywhere near the top of the LaLiga table at the end of the season.

    Yeah it’s horrible. No way to look past that but it’s still so many games left. I don’t think the top 2 clubs are gonna go the whole season without dropping points too. But they’ve dug themselves a hole already, yorue right.
