Estevão will be playing for Flamengo in 5 years. That's my bet. And Endrick will be back in Brazil in 4 years
I really feel like they are taking advantage of FOMO. Vinicius was such a smash hit that Brazilian clubs are now putting every teenage sensation on a fast track to fame to profit out of it.
Lyon have been relegated to Ligue 2 due to financial issues. The club can still appeal this decision. pic.twitter.com/ICs3ABejkJ— B/R Football (@brfootball) June 24, 2025 Lyon, a historic French club that finished 6th in Ligue 1, in a Europa League qualification spot, and has now been relegated to Ligue 2 because they have no money. Unreal, tragic for the game
They would do well to remember Bordeaux for how a club can fall even further if they are not able to get on top of financial issues quickly

Irony and a sad fact is that more people will discover and discuss this two time BDR winner for this comment on men's football tournament than they ever did about her football. Women's football is super niche.
It's really no surprise that fans whose teams are not in this tournament don't really care about it. You think I'm watching Chelsea or Bayern in CWC? The only teams besides RM I've watched have been Benfica and River Plate due to Carreras and Mastantuono. Marketing has been very scarce and extremely underwhelming for this supposed "new benchmark" in club football. I think there was zero hype created around it. It's really no surprise, football as a whole suffers from poorly thought out ideas that are unveiled/presented with zero real grandeur. Look no further than the Superleague debacle for a perfect example. Why should anyone care about yet another tournament just because you've shown them your powerpoint presentation with a half asleep narrator reading off the screen. Even the Ballon d'Or ceremonies are hard to watch, pure amateur hour with awkward moments left and right.
Spending so much money as the EPL and still get your ass handed to you by the others leagues is something else.
