Now THAT'S obvious. In so many ways.

It's funny to me that on one hand people call me a closet Bayern fan, and on the other hand i have to prove i'm somehow close to Bayern. Every day is a new adventure on bigsoccer i guess. :D

I don't care about you. Anything non topic related from this point gets deleted. Write a DM if you have issues.

I'm being selfish by the way because i'm trying to enjoy the Madrid game without having to babysit this thread.

England-Germany U21 is a treat. So much talent there on display. Siebert looks like a tank lol

It's the complete bench starting for Germany, though.

I wasn't aware that there is a fixed starting eleven, but then again I don't watch die Boyschaft that much:) My boy Rohl, Knauff, Ullrich are established players at this point and Weiper, Wanner and Siebert are future stars if they keep developing. It was also nice to see my boy Alex Scott back with a goal after all the injuries including that broken jaw that made him look like the late great Hannibal Lecter today. Such an unlucky guy. Elliot Anderson is a baller as well.

What I wanted to say is, there is even more talent in this team than we could see tonight. Especially Woltemade, Gruda, Reitz and Martel. Also: it's quite the exception to see a manager rotating all 11 positions, isn't it? They were lucky to win the game in the end. England deserved a draw imo.

Woltemade and Martel I wanted to see too but Weiper and Wanner are definitely challengers for their spot. Unfortunately I dont know Gruda and Reitz, but really Germany is loaded with talent.

You played for Bayern's youth team? That's sick. That's a great 2nd club team to have.

Let's just say I understood quickly what the limits of my potential as a player was when I brought a friend of mine to play with us and he was given a starter bib in practice 5 minutes in and I held a substitute one for the entirety of my time there.

A friend of mine played for 1860 and stayed there tooth and nail by any way possible only to quit at U18.

When i got to coaching at the lowest entry level (where i stopped), i took great care of paying attention to all of the guys, not just those that jumped off the page, and it was very appreciated. We had a ritual at the end of camp where kids would drop notes about what we could do better and what we could do well and i got a ton of them saying thanks for being there and stuff. I was so exhausted though, a senior coach told me if you do this for years you'll be crushed paying everybody this much attention and he was so right. :D

Dome of the Wirtz communication is weird. Saw an article on Marca/AS saying how his parents will earn 10 mil. Euro, but how is that news? They operate as his agent, none different to how Mbappé's mother does or Bellingham's family does.

Apparently, Barca will announce the signing of Nico Williams soon. They already announced the signing of a new goalkeeper Joan Garcia. Two great signings for them imo. They will be unstoppable next season. Tbh they were robbed against Inter in the second leg of the CL semi final (Acerbi's goal was not regular). If that goal didn't stand, they would have been in the final where they would perform much better than Inter did imo.

I think we are far below their level at the moment and it is very likely they will continue their winning streak against us in the next season. It makes me sad and kinda depressed watching the difference in quality between the current Real Madrid and Barcelona squad. Imagine what Nico and Raphinha will do to Trent on that right side on the next Clasico...

You know what I dislike about the Nico Williams thing is, they are putting the national team together at Barca and it will only help them develop even more of a team, Olmo, Yamal, Williams playing both for club and country is nearly unfair from a team building standpoint. Bayern used to do this in the past.

Palmeiras match about to start. It's a holiday here today. A nice rainy and cold afternoon with my parents while my gf visits hers. Hoping we can win this.

Actually: One hit wonder that they could cleverly move on from while he's at peak value.

You may be right but it's about a team, not individuals. This isn't tennis or golf.

I still found it odd that the Gold Cup is holding in the same time as the CWC Finals in the same host country. The United States is big enough to host two tournaments at the same time, I kmow. But I meant that it is the biggest national tournament for the CONCACAF. I find it being disrespectful to the conference. I don't how the tournament affects the makeup of the national teams of Mexico, USA and Canada.

Yes! Palmeiras won! What an ugly terrible disgusting game. Abel is the worst version of Mourinho.

Now hoping for a Porto Inter draw.

It is just sad that the continental championship of CONCACAF became a sideshow. The idea of the being the champion of their own region still holds something important elsewhere in the world, I think, but the Gold Cup sinks to a point of being irrelevant.

Quansah on his way to Leverkusen for around €35m

Also rumours Liverpool are going to go for Guehi. If they do then this is some transfer window they are having.
