While I have massive respect for Messi's career, I have always found this undeniable. Even if you think he's the best player ever, it doesn't mean he was the best player every year. How do guys miss that?
Messi is top 5-10 greatest player ever. If you call him "Pessi" and think his reputation is in any way artificial you don't know ball and should be a ashamed of yourself. Can't justify watching this much football and not thinking that Messi is something really really special.
They are trying to give him the traditional farewell that Barcelona give to all their stars once they come towards the end of their service to the club.
Viktor Gyökeres ready to snub Manchester United for ‘dream’ Arsenal move Sporting striker wants to play in Champions League Mikel Arteta thought to prefer Benjamin Sesko Manchester United’s pursuit of Viktor Gyökeres appears doomed after the Sporting striker said signing for Arsenal would be a “dream”. United held exploratory discussions about buying the 27-year-old, with Ruben Amorim intent on strengthening the position. But it is understood the player’s representatives have told United he does not wish to join the club. Whether Mikel Arteta views the Swede as his first-choice centre-forward recruit is unclear as he is thought to prefer the 22-year-old Benjamin Sesko at RB Leipzig. Sporting value Gyökeres at about €80m (£68m). https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jun/14/viktor-gyokeres-snub-manchester-united-arsenal Maybe Arsenal will sign both if they can get rid of Gab Jesus and Havertz.
Most people are brainwashed and easily manipulated unfortunately; look at the state of the current World.
I have a feeling that this tournament is going to be a success but the media and some fans so far are doing all that they can to make it out to be a major flop.
I don't know what's going to happen in the knockout stages, but I do know that the group stage has been a failure, at least in terms of ticket sales.
Atletico Madrid believed to be pushing for Andy Robertson to join them as Liverpool are bringing in a new left back Could be Trent Vs Robertson in the Madrid Derby next season!
I just saw this, and I have to say, it doesn't seem like Hansi had that room at all. I've had more motivating pep talks at soulless corporate meetups. Really an awkward moment at the end there where everyone literally just ignores him.
Haha, thanks for the laugh. I'm not sure I would even use "seem" in this respect, he absolutely didn't have the room in this particular instant. He also makes many mistakes in his approach, goodness. And that final question, lord have mercy: "And that includes being on time when we have a meeting. Is that clear?". As if they're a bunch of children. Amateur!
Most people do believe what the media, government, etc. tell them without doing their own research. This became really apparent [and worrisome] when debating people who claimed dry cat food filled with rice, corn, wheat, gluten, etc. was perfectly safe and healthy for their cats despite being obligate carnivores (ie. requiring strictly protein/fat). Their 'reliable' evidence was simply the word of their corporate overlords/vets claiming it was 'scientifically formulated' and had the sponsored journal articles to prove it.
this is completely fair and I think it's also fair to criticize some of the awards he has been awarded at various times -- Copa America best player a little while back comes to mind....
The Hard Rock Stadium looks full for supposedly having difficulty selling tickets for this Inter Miami vs Al Ahly game
Their player should have gotten his second yellow but of course refs are so scared to punish lionel messi teams. Never seen teams get away with so much
