I agree that the rules will always be bent for their favor. Where I see the issue is as Barca needs time to flip couch cushions for the spare change to scrap the necessary funds - an EPL team, or PSG or someone else will come and pay above the buyout clause and offer massive wages. I don’t think he’s any different than his brother when it comes to money. I don’t think he makes Barca radically better TBH. So if they do get him by some miracle, it’s not that big of a deal.
Osimhen will be a good signing for PSG tbh. Proven scorer. Arsenal would take next step with a striker like him, but they spent 100 ME+ on Havertz and Gab Jesus who are mid. Same with Utd spending 100 ME+ on Holjund and Zirkzee. 🚨🔴🔵 Paris Saint-Germain are planning to advance for both João Neves and Victor Osimhen from next week.Benfica understand João’s desire to join PSG, talks are advancing between the clubs to get it done.Osimhen said yes to PSG, deal with Napoli not close yet but talks on. pic.twitter.com/RaxjHcx08G— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) July 21, 2024

He's not wrong (Dembele's lack of game IQ has been highlighted for years), but what a stupid way of phrasing it.
What's the best comp for Yamal? Don't be ridiculous and say Messi, we're trying to stay realistic, what's the best possible comparable player you could see him become? Does he develop more into a midfield player or into a striker?
Ribery if he doesn't become a prolific scorer and Salah if he does. I think he's pretty close to his prime like Raul and Cesc were as teenagers so don't see Messi level spurt in a year or two.
I can't recall the last player who was continuously "carried" across Club and NT based on the whole "oh but you know what he can do on his day" narrative as if he is a teen when he's a pro with over 5+ years of senior experience like Dembele. How he began this Euros given the calamity he caused at every game and the last world cup no end product is beyond me.
Spanish NT games were played there despite it being an archaic stadium with athletic tracks so not surprised RFEF selected Cartuja as World Cup venue as that will facilitate renovation too.

Rough summer for La Real. Le Normand, Merino about to leave. If Kubo and Zubimendi also leave for 60 ME buyout each, their core will be gutted. They'd have 180 ME in sales, but replacing those players will be tough. They are yet to find a competent striker despite getting 70 ME for Isak couple of years back.
Good thinking on that, plenty of need, this is where teams like Valencia with financial problems and a lot of youth will capitalize.

He can donate half his salary to Betis women's team. "Just as much as men do" extra money won't be created in vaccum when there's enormous difference in viewership.
