Moukoko sent back to Dortmund from Nice as they don't want to use the 18 mil. Clause to retain him. He was also dropped from the U21 squad. Dortmund really didn't hit with a single talent from this generation.
I feel like I've experienced Leverkusen being second best almost as often as Real Madrid winning. More than the results what felt off about Leverkusen was that the team never really got going. Played some awful games against Bayern where they were terrified of losing when everybody kind of expected them to see them eye to eye. Weird season. Felt like it never got going then Xabi announced "we are still in this mathematically but we're not winning anymore" and everybody packed it in. It's the reason some coaches leave when they do something they can't repeat.
Good coach but it’ll reflect badly on us with them winning it for the first time the same season they shipped their best player to us. So inter it is for me too!
Mo Salah thinks he has the best shot at winning the Ballon D'Or this year. Meanwhile Dembele is about to win a treble.
Rodri-esque online campaign started for Yamal. Barca PR decided to push for Yamal instead of Raphinha. Smart move because Vini, Jude, Carvajal finishing in Top 4 split votes last year.
Talk of flick going with next season Diaz lewa yamal And raphina as a 10 that’s a little aggressive. I don’t think it’s sustainable
He won the Champions League with a front 4 of Lewa, Gnabry, Muller and Coman. At least 2 of those players you mentioned are literal workhorses, the other 2 are not that far off either. If he can make proper rotations when needed they will keep playing at a high level.
Wouldn't Nico make more sense if that's the system? Diaz will cost PL premium as well at 28 if Pool decides to sell.
I reckon Pool won't sell unless they get a productive player like Wirtz. Priority will be to get rid of Nunez to Saudi.
Flick is going with the "we support our coach to the fullest" in December and the "we have decided it is the best for both sides to go separate directions" in May 2026. It's a very good 1-2 attack.
They will also need their attack to function the same way it did this season, where even a broom could score.
Yamal will either win it or get very close. The PR is really amped up right now. They are invested heavily in creating another cash cow they can market as a “good boy”
It's being voted on, from what I've seen people looooove Yamal. Barca know this that's why they lock in on that.
Honestly, I hope he wins. It’s a bit of a sham award given how the criteria has never been given up until recently and it’s not even fully applied with the voters. It’s a glorified popularity contest. It will be funny to see the hurdles and hoops everyone says that he “earned” it.
