No hate on @MiamiNative0722 , only love for his match threads! Yeah, it’s shameful that they freeze out local markets with the Apple TV deal. I don’t follow MLS but didn’t Miami get eliminated early in the playoffs? I recall there as some controversy with bad behavior from Suarez or something like that?
Yes, they disappointed in the playoffs. But they went from a team in 14th place in 2023 to a team with the best record in the league in 2024 with the Supporters Shield trophy. For an extremely young franchise, that's a very successful season in MLS fans eyes. Perhaps it didn't reach the expectations that come with the name Messi, but 2024 was a major step forward in the brief history of the club. This year is going to be a tougher test. Certainly won't be consistent enough in the regular season with the personnel in the back, but perhaps they can do better when it comes to the knockout scenario of the playoffs.
I just started watching the MLS again. First game back was the "hell is real" derby between cincy and Columbus, and I decided to adopt Cincy.
Main issue with the MLS is the rapid expansion to 30 teams which diluted the talent across the league. All of the franchise fee money went straight to the owners pockets and they didn’t reinvest the money in the clubs. Bob Kraft should be forced to sell the Revolution. They still play their matches in god awful Gillette stadium and they are in the bottom of league spending for payroll.
Rodrygo will walk into that team. And witj Haaland he may form a strong partnership. Bet City will be all over him this summer. Especially after Pep told Grealish to pack his bags
There's a name I hadn't heard in a while. What is Grealish, like 8th-choice forward for City right now? One can expect Savinho to improve next season. And Doku. So, not sure its the easiest team to walk into.

Pep is such a clown. Kovacic gets sent off for hauling down a player from a Gvardiol bad pass and Pep walks over to Kovacic to yell at him with his mouth covered as he’s going into the tunnel. I have no idea why they want to play for him.
🚨 Pep Guardiola: “I don't want to have 24, 25, 26 players when everyone is fit. I told the club I don’t want that”.“If I have injuries, unlucky! We will have some players from the Academy and we will do it”. pic.twitter.com/8k7NtVtlQc— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) May 21, 2025
Haha, wasn't he crying about the injuries and that he didn't have players not too long ago? But maybe I'm wrong
He said in the past he wants to work with a group as small as possible so that everybody is getting time and is engaged.
I’m breaking my silence for this one tweet because there’s far too much misinformation circulating around Florian Wirtz, and it’s creating a wave of false hope within the Bayern fanbase that simply doesn’t reflect the reality behind the scenes.Florian Wirtz will not be joining…— Bayern Space (@BayernSpace) May 21, 2025 Is Wirtz headed to Liverpool?
