Guardiola getting crushed in the press today. I think some of the criticism is justified but the penalty kick stuff is kind of absurd. What do you want him to do, walk into the field and tell the players what to do?
I see a pattern here - every time they lose, it's the referee's fault. https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/mls/inter-miami/article306501971.html

Quality signing and I would have preferred him to Carreras, but I guess we can't always get them all.
I wonder what his price will be.. If it's something crazy then I would understand not moving for him but if it's near what we pay for Carreras..
Saeta mentioned a rumoured €50m price for Kerkez as well as Carreras … I feel we’re being rinsed by Benfica with this one but hopefully I’m wrong.
Inter Miami is essentially an extremely unlikeable charity match squad of “Messi & Friends” I seriously think the league has told the referees not to card Messi, Suarez, Alaba or Bisquick for anything.
Yeah, I enjoyed it more than the old group stage. Some of what made it better felt a bit lucky - like a CL contender, PSG, and also Man City struggling to get in the top 24. I suspect that won't happen most seasons. But even without that, still an improvement IMO
I saw the sh-t Messi does their and he gets away with anything, and their are things that if it was any other player he would get a red card on the spot. But hey, if Messi and friends comes to play against your team it's rockets the ticket price to sky. So the owners doesn't care.
What other team has Messi’s former teammates and BFFS than Inter Miami? He’s basically strong armed Beckham to bring his buddies over and the MLS bent the rules to allow it. Great that Messi has the power to do that, I’m not against it. It’s just satisfying to watch that group of assholes implode and whine and bitch.
The most funny thing about this is the fact that they always blame everyone except Messi. He literality brought his friends to play with and he is the one that picks the coaches.
Yeah ... I wonder how much "strong arming" it took to convince Beckham to bring in world class players to the MLS who still contribute on the field and attract eyeballs and therefore money. Messi probably had to put a gun to his head ....
If you consider a hobbled Suarez, and 36 year old Busquets and Alba as World Class, sure, keep believing my man. Javier Mascerano was fully qualified for the job as HC too?
I wouldn’t read too much into that. City have to qualify for CL football first before any top tier players will sign. Wirtz looked to be heading to Bayern, but I’m sure if the money faucet is turned on, they could be back into the hunt.
Looking at the stats, a hobbled Suarez scored 25 goals in 37 matches last season. Don't know how Busquets and Alba have been playing because frankly, I haven't really spent a minute watching a match as the MLS doesn't really interest ... but they were professionals who did take care of themselves over their careers. So I am pretty sure they are not there just to make Messi happy. And Suarez, from watching an interview a couple of years ago in Brazil, is still hungry to play ... dude still loves training and playing. So I am pretty sure Beckham isn't getting screwed here. Any MLS rule bending to fit them in is fair criticism though. To coach an MLS team ? Pretty sure it doesn't take that much qualification. Not sure how is that relevant. Pep took over Barca and Zidane took over Madrid with very few coaching qualifications.
