I stopped playing almost a decade ago but I wouldn't wear anything but Predators. I wore old ones until they ran ragged while having newer ones. Those Mercurial Vapors were shit.

Jack Grealish in Aston Villa's promotion season refused to change his boots as they were his 'lucky' ones. It became a thing that people were looking out for them each week to see if he had finally changed them

More brain cells in them boots than his head i reckon

Mizuno for me, the shape of the boot fits my foot very well and the leather are very good quality. Doesn't hurt that they don't completely redesign boots every 12 months to get more sales too.

Man same here. I loved my old predators, they don't make them the same anymore. Jude's new predators look very cool, curious if they make them the same as the Zidane/Beckham ones.

Nike shoes never really fit me well. I was always an Adidas guy. Something about the Preds had the perfect combination of style and class never mind the quality.

Adidas started to follow Nike's tackier styling in the 2010s but by then I stopped playing.

I miss him already. Players like him and Carvajal really elevated our squad from an intelectual point of view.

    Wow if true :D

The original 115 alleged charges given to Manchester City have been extended to a total of 130.

I hope they get relegated and Guardiola stays.

Pep will end the season looking like Quasimodo.

If they can't come to an agreement the decision is deferred to 2026, they'll be kicking this can down the road way after Guardiola has left that building

Despite everything, I still believe that what they've done to guarantee some kind of guardrail for spending is far superior to what any league or association has done in football.

Newcastle were stuffed pretty quickly, and Chelsea basically just kicked the problem multiple years down the road with even that not being allowed anymore.

Liverpool with a really strong XI, this could get ugly for Girona.

Interested because i have thought about this a lot lately:

Would you entertain Michel as our coach? One of "them"?

Sometime in the future? Hmmm, why not? He gives his attackers a lot of freedom and is flexible, I like how he has adapted to losing most of his best players this season.

A manager who can adapt to losing his best player (like say Benzema), is flexible about playing style and gives attackers a lot of freedom rather than systematic identify players are defined by.

A manager like that might actually do well in Madrid, but it seems like we are stuck with Carlo.

Leverkusen with late winner vs Inter. They are 2nd in CL table now.

I did the math and 16 points might not be enough for them to get a place in the top 8.

Leverkusen just don't look that good to me, i've seen them in person. It's quite strange. I still think Xabi staying there helps his development as a coach very very much.

Kroos was honored for his charity work for children, as well as spent 105.000 Euro of his own during an annual charity broadcast where people call in to contribute and get a random famous person to answer their call.

He said it's completely random and you don't get to choose who you get "you either get lucky and get me on the phone, or you've got bad luck and get Friedrich Merz (head of the Christian conservative party), it's totally random" he said on his podcast.

Considering how busy Toni has been, it truly seems like he set up everything in a way that leaving the sport was not going to leave him in any trouble about what to spend his free time doing.

If he is interested, a future as a football exec with the DFB and the League is almost guaranteed.

It might depend on goal difference. Currently there are several 4- and 5-way ties on points throughout the CL table, so GD really matters.

And I agree - someone with 16 points will fall outside the top 8. Of those currently in the top 8, it is difficult to see more than 1 of them falling short of 16 pts. And Arsenal seem a safe bet to hit 16 pts. On top of that, Atleti and Milan have pretty nice schedules from here on, so quite capable of getting 7 points from their last 3. And Lille not out of the question either.

But picture will be clearer in a few hours.

He's running a youtube/influencer League, that's considered a competitor/enemy of the traditional lower tier football model. I think he's taking the Pique route of creating business away from football.

This has been rather effortless for Atleti so far.
