Vinicius wears the shirt that muliple all time greats have worn. The pressure he'll have at home as the team's star player is probably at the top of the sport.
The Civil Guard deactivates the most important pirate streaming channel in Spain The Civil Guard has blocked all channels of the Cristal Azul app. A 37-year-old man is accused of allegedly committing fraud of more than 42 million euros. According to an official press release from the Madrid Command, the Civil Guard has managed to deactivate one of the largest streaming piracy channels in Spain, where football matches could be consumed at a very reduced price. The Technological Investigation Team (EDITE) assures that they have already identified the owner and he will be investigated for an alleged crime against the market and consumers for broadcasting pay channels in a pirated manner. This pirate application is known as Cristal Azul, one of the most important in our country. The investigation by the armed institute was carried out following a joint complaint filed by LaLiga and Movistar. The Civil Guard assures that more than 78,000 users were benefiting from the service offered by this piracy channel. https://as.com/futbol/primera/la-gu...-streaming-pirata-mas-importante-en-espana-n/
Spain can't secure it's streets or it's borders but at least the country is protected from the dangers of free football.
Lionel Messi vs Paraguay to the referee in his face: “You are a COWARD, I don’t like you” And the MFs that support this also cry about Vini attitude.
You know what's funny? If LaLiga had any normal and decent ways of streaming their games they would have my money, and I assume other people's money too. But the primates at LaLiga HQ have a case of rotbrain and use some obscure shitty platforms with horrible commentators, and their stream lags behind pirated streams significantly. Ways to stream are so unnecessarily complicated and ridiculous, on top of that you're paying like 30 euro... I don't want to have a Sky sports subscription, I don't need a 4th Indian league packaged into my "offer". I just want to watch LaLiga games with normal commentators. Why is that to much to ask? It's the same with UFC after they ended up on ESPN. Completely gave up on ever buying a PPV since. It's like some companies just don't want my money.
That's true about last night but broadly speaking he has been a passenger for Brazil more often than not. So, it goes a bit deeper than just a lack of goal contributions.
Lyon fail to convince Ligue 1 of their business plan to sort their dire finances and are 'provisionally relegated to Ligue 2'
Such an outcome was expected considering that the Ligue 1 club’s debt reportedly rose from €458 million to €508 million. Textor reportedly said to the DNCG today that Lyon would be able to sell players – or Botafogo players, with the Brazilian outfit also part of the Eagle Football Group portfolio – as well as a 45 % share in Premier League side Crystal Palace to balance the books. Despite the American businessman’s confidence that the meeting with the DNCG went well, the financial watchdog evidently did not agree. As it stands, Lyon will be relegated to Ligue 2 if their financial situation does not improve dramatically. Les Gones might be forced to sell their prized assets, including France U21 international attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki (21) or Belgian international winger Malick Fofana (19) on a cheap this winter transfer window. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.c...visional-ligue-2-relegation-and-transfer-ban/
Love Vini but his form for Brazil is worrying. He was doing really, really well before the missed penalty but then crumbled after. Imo, I've said this before but he needs a therapist or someone to talk to. It's clear there is no one at Madrid and Brazil that can tell him to chill out. I will say this though, imo he is 24 and still has a long career ahead of him. I can see him turning it around for sure in a few years.
Wow. Terrible time for Lyon, really a shame to see a team that was one of the coolest to watch when I was getting into football in such a bad place now.
Cristiano scoring a bycicle kick for Portugal in 2024 was not on my bingo card, but here we are. What a guy.
For his sake and legacy, I wish he did these things at big moments for his country. He gassed us up before the Euros with his form but showed he was indeed kaput.
At times he's hard to watch in that team, true. In my opinion he's not fully kaput, but his legs definitely ain't what they should be at that level. He still produces, which is kind of funny. Because even at 40 years of age he's the top scorer in the Nation's League. That level of talent is crazy. I still love it when he scores, and I hope he gets his 1000 goals, whether that is without playing for Portugal or with them.
Would still do a job for us upfront in some games and coming of bench, but he's ego and mindset would never accept not playing every game which is why he is saudi now and also the money. Top 5 footballer of all time and probably the biggest freak athlete in sport, its insane how he plays every game for club and country still and never injured. he is 100 games away from playing the most games of any player in football history and 90 off 1000 goals.
Schalke looking at relegation to the third division and financial ruin right now. On their third coach of the season.
Damn. Always sad to see clubs that used to be decent fall down so bad. Still remember watching Raul play for them, they had Draxler, Farfan, Neuer was still with them... and a couple of other good players, and they were playing CL football.. How the times have changed for them
It's a HUGE club. I'm personally really worried that we're losing big clubs with a large traditional support and they are being replaced by Red Bull clubs that have no fanbase and nobody really cares about whether they win or lose.
Meh, there are those who get tummy aches over anything Barça related. That La Masia continues to produce is largely down to Catalan nationalism, IMO. And madrid aren't doing anything "wrong" by choosing to buy all their parts, tbh. They're behaving EXACTLY as UEFA and the EU want them to behave. Unfortunately, this is only gonna lead to some clubs going bankrupt, and even entire leagues going under in the mid-term. (Lyons and Ligue Un are just the canaries in the coal mine.) Longer term, unbridled player transfers to massive clubs will lead to the creation of some form of a "super league." IOW, consolidation of football into a very few, but massive clubs, just as has occurred in other industries. We'll see if it'll be good for the game, but I suspect that it won't.
