To counter this point I present the constant tummy aches people here get when Barca are praised for starting 11 players from the academy, or reaching similar milestones.

Other issues aside, what they are doing with their academy is worthy of praise and admiration and I'd hope we'd at least try to get somewhat closer.

You could argue the last kid we brought from the academy to start for the first team was Carvajal and he's practically 40.

Lol, the only thing that embarrassing here it's you.
You came to the Real Madrid forum to trying and sting the users here and fail miserably. Then you get offended and cry that they bite you back and to top it all off you come off as a bigger joke than you already are.

Dude, nobody cares about your opinion.
Barca fan that only replies in Real Madrid forum so he can get some attention here cuz nobody gives him any at real world.

The reason this place is this active by the way is because we're open to anybody and everybody. @celito, @BocaFan, @The Biscuitman, @Serengeti_Boy, @Cris 09 post here regularly or semi regularly and are part of this place and I wouldn't want them out. I'm sure there's others, but again, the fact that this is an active community is because it's a space for people to speak their mind and disagree with each other.

That doesn't mean we're not going to disagree, but it means you need to learn to tolerate that somebody thinks what you say is stupid, and vice versa.

Argentina are in ruins financially, I doubt the rest of the team are being compensated for their efforts.

With a couple of the guys you mentioned they've gotten a little more comfortable with just exchanging ideas rather than simply trolling. In general we have had fairly open discussions about players or calls with Real Madrid fans with options being mixed and visitors who are able to participate respectfully have been welcomed.

My point has always been that balanced articulate members of any club are welcome here. Folks actually report posters "not a Madrid fan, trolling!" just because they disagree with them. :ROFLMAO:

Ansu Fati out again. I would say he's done. Cautionary tale.

Definitely yeah. I hope no such thing happens to Lamine but considering how much he's playing and the fact he only gets rest when he shows signs of muscle overload... Very very possible. One big injury and that's a huge mental blow that sets you back. Ansu didn't lose all his talent but mentally he's ********ed up on all fronts and there's probably no coming back. It would help a lot if Lamine is tougher both mentally and physically than Ansu, which I think is the case.

He had four operations in one year before leaving Barcelona on loan, extremely unlucky mixed with fragile. He looked like a total gem tbh prior to that.

Barca brought it upon themselves and ruined the kids career. They brought him back waaaay to early after he ruptured his knee and I said that back then. He's never been the same

Some guys just aren't cut out for it, or have terrible injury luck. Some guys don't even make it to the pros. One of our young players retired after he got an infection during his surgery, he was considered very talented as well. At least on the Spanish media side the club posted it online as well.

I think the loan move to the uk was a bad choice as well, very physical league, huge demands. Seems like a bit of a greedy move.

Fati had superstar talent, but lost that magic due to multiple injuries early on in his career similar to Grant Hill in basketball. But Fati has struggled to make an impact even as a squad player since coming back.

Most visitors here are good and just debate subjective preferences of players and tactics, but why should we tolerate the suggestion that the use of a roster of foreign players is worthy of shame or disgrace? It’s despicable and that’s the crap that pushes regulars away. When I see discourse like that, I take a break for a few weeks and come back. The reason this place isn’t active with more regulars is because we have mods trying to play that off as a reasonable discussion. Crap like that pops up way too often.

I don't think that dude is even a Cule. He had 0 posts in Barca forum when I checked few days back. Sounds very similar to the jobless resident troll of BS Demo/Realist. Blocking is the best way rather than waste time on such trolls. :D

This forum attracts some weird trolls. Saved a lot of time by blocking that fierro dude as well.

According to Eurosport , Xabi Alonso will leave Leverkusen this summer. The coach has already made his decision and he will not be the only one, as Grimaldo will also leave the German club at the end of this season.
    ______________

Bayern want to renew Musiala and will have to dig deep into their pockets to do so. According to German outlet Sport1 , the attacker's salary could rise to 22 million euros a year, putting him on the same salary scale as Kane. His contract would be valid until 2030, as Bayern's directors want him to sign for many years if they end up giving him that salary.

To praise some, it is not necessary to criticize others. Xavi also did important things, such as clearly winning a league in very difficult circumstances. There was also a coach who did not win titles, but who gave debuts to Gavi, Pedri or Araujo, everything is a process and there is an evolution. In this club sometimes there is a lack of patience, it is a very difficult club. For example, Vinicius in Madrid had a lot of criticism at the beginning and now he is different for his team."

What a joke of a leadership at Roma.

Sacking De Rossi after four games, after he rejuvenated the team after being hired mid way through last season. Such a poor look.
