Sociedad are a great team and it would surely be unfair to say that Real Madrid dominated them. Sociedad was very unlucky not to get 3 or 4 past Madrid. 2 Madrid goals were penalties too. We all know that. Madrid had some luck which Barca was definitely lacking against Sociedad, but both teams struggled very much on Reale Arena.

I feel some people forget referees are Human, egos and all.

Well Barca was capable of scoring a completely clean goal and taking an early lead that would inevitably make the game an one way street rest of the match.

We were "unlucky" because people in the VAR room disallowed that goal mistaking defenders foot for Lewandowski's. Maybe it was unlucky, maybe something different - won't get too much into that. Anyways, a very strange decision indeed but doesn't anyhow justify the very poor performance Barca pulled off after it without a single shot on target.

Reading these cules' tearful stories about referee mistakes is something I love to do. Negreira and his son are feeling very sad right now

 

Weird that in one picture, they're both wearing white boots, and in the one with the circles on it, they look like they're both wearing black boots.

Either way, Lewandowski looks onside. (Imagine the meltdown around these parts if that was Mbappe incorrectly called offside.)

 

He can't. He looked bad last season too due to fatigue. Barca is better than last season but they are punching above their weight right now.

Unless you think Lewa is bigfoot there is no way you can claim that thing is offside without being biased and dishonest like some here usually are. Just how big his boots actually have to be if that VAR image is correct.

 

Even better:

Mark pages ~211 - 213 or so for later reference, if/when a call goes against madrid, and how much of a meltdown will ensue around these parts. And/or if a VAR review goes against madrid.

The meltdown and tantrums will be epic around here.


For my part, and for what I've seen out of the culers posting here, I'm not seeing anything that would be alike.
