Fan zone has been closed since 3, it's about 70% full of Scots from what i've heard. A lot of people just skipped the fence and came in regardless What has never happened, not at the World Cup, or the Euro in Munich, happened this time. The police started warning people to stay out of the city if they don't have any particular reason to be there. Subway started skipping one of the biggest stops on the network.

I'm sure someone will say mental illness but he just doesn't care. It's the same with Hazard. They have an addiction to eating and don't really care for football or the position in life they've gotten to.
Just really odd! He played v Mainz a week or two before the Madrid game and he looked in fairly decent shape. He must have gone right off the rails.
It’s absolutely hilarious to me that the captain of Spain is Morata. That says a lot about the state of the that team right now.
Most tournament winners don't beat their opponents by 4 or more goals in the group stage. I don't know about Copa America. In the Euros or the World Cup Finals, West Germany had two convincing wins in 1990: 4-0 Yugoslavia or 5-1 UAE. But one of them was UAE, and they slowed down after the first two matches. In fact, they only did enough to go through each matches. France beat Belgium 5-0 in Euro 1984. For the rest of the tournament, they looked "normal". Spain beat Ireland 4-0 in 2012. They also looked "normal" until the Final against Italy.

Nothing. Just being unprofessional. It is a thing during all of his career and was always present - in Hoffenheim, in Munich and Dortmund. That is why Bayern did not give him a pay rise - he transferred to a "less demanding" employer. That the young players when they start their career often love too eat all kind of "trash" is pretty normal - but usually at top clubs they really try to optimize their shape and nutrition more and more with their age. Süle does not.
I genuinely think England is cursed. Since the 90s they have had enough talent to win but couldn't. Then they hired two foreign coaches who were pretty high in regard at the time and one of them being the highest paid manager in the world at that point but nothing. Then not qualifying for 2008 and also being knocked out inexplicably by Iceland and Italy in a tournament where everyone else was really bad. And most perplexing for me, mega stars who can't replicate their club form for the NTs besides Owen, Rooney, Beckham. It's remarkable when you see talents like Gerrard, Lampard and even Phil Foden struggle in the shirt.
The problem with that Golden Generation for England was that they had no one up top once that defense and midfield matured. Owen was crocked and Rooney was also injured but still too green. That 2006 squad was stacked. The other argument is that all of Lampard, Gerrard and Beckham were all too similar.

Maybe, or..... maybe just not as good as constantly proclaimed, maybe, once not surrounded by talent at club level they are like fish out of water when having to play together, maybe they were all good followers but not good leaders, mentally at least, not good enough to pull it all together playing for the national team, I've watched quite a few England games, it's not like these guys are dominating teams and barely failing to make it, they truly often look mediocre, lost and out of ideas when playing together for England especially against the better teams, at one point just passing the ball to one another seemed beyond them, although recently they've gotten a bit better in that regard, at least we know Jude is a proper leader on the pitch, and Kane is a good finisher, may make a difference this time around
I don't see anyone trying to do their best for that Jersey. Just mediocre games. Jude will be a star in future for them. Foden is great but Pep systemizes players and sometimes they don't shine elsewhere.
Rio Ferdinand, Terry, Campbell, Cole, Gerrard, Scholes, Lampard, Beckham, Rooney … you think these are a calibre of player that aren’t capable of winning? Come on man. That’s a totally elite group of players, but if you can’t gel it together into a coherent team then it will always be an almost impossible task, and that was the problem.
His case is at the point where i feel like he's got a mental issue. You can't be this horrible as a grown up with this
