To be fair, Inter are a really well coached team. Inzaghi is an underrated manager IMO.

We've been told for weeks now that if we had Halaand we'd be scoring 25 goals a game... so it's a bit bewildering to me that City somehow fell quite a few goals short of the reasonable expectations

 

Standard haaland performance when he cant use he size to bully good defenders. he's great at bullying weak defenders.

Just until Haaland faced a good team where CB pockets him usually.

 

Osimhen outjumped Rudiger a few times last season and showed some physical presence. Haaland is too soft against physical CBs. Good teams isolate him knowing City won't risk losing possession with crosses more than few times in a game.

Inzaghi was a classic poacher who invariably gets away once or twice a game even when closely man marked. Haaland lacks that smarts so far in big games.
