Vinicius/Haaland are far superior duo as they would fit together like a glove.

Vinicius will never be a great goalscorer, but he's amazing at setting up chances for his teammates (at least for Madrid). Vinicius will have the LW for himself.

Haaland is a GOAT-level striker whose goalscoring production is on par with Prime Messi & Prime Ronaldo. Haaland ghosting in semi-finals & finals won't be an issue with Vinicius on the team.

Leaving aside the fact Barca cannot afford Haaland's massive salary demands, why would Haaland downgrade himself by joining a much worse team than Man City? Barca are nowhere an UCL contender and have an inferior overall team than Man City.

Perhaps Haaland joins Man City when he's past his prime.

Cristiano left Man United that won 3x EPL titles in a row & reached 2 UCL-finals (won 1) to join a far worse Real Madrid team because he was a fan of the club. That's not the case with Haaland.

Haaland is a GOAT level striker is an unhinged statement if you consider the quality and depth the position has had over the past few decades.

Brazilian Ronaldo all the way down to Gerd Müller. Saying Haaland is already greatest of all time tier is absolutely laughable.

I'd even say he's not even better than Alan Shearer or Kane yet, just in the Premier League context alone.

"i like this player" has turned into "this player is the GOAT and he gives me life".

    Slow down with the hyperbole.

He scores at a ridiculously high rate so I will pay the man his dues.

At the same time when City is not dominating, he is practically useless. I’m still waiting for him to score in a big game. Hell City won a CL with him being nonexistent in the elimination rounds

He's the best striker in the Premier League right now so by default he's one of the best players in the game, but GOAT gets thrown around way too easy.

Vinicius could potentially win a Balon d'Or before both Mbappe and Haaland, and if I told you that when we first signed the guy you'd fall on the floor in tears laughing.

Salary wise, Frenkie makes quite a bit more than Haaland. Offload Frenkie and ship out Lewandowski, and Haaland's salary shouldn't be a problem unless he wants to up his salary by quite a bit. The club can't afford his transfer fee or whatever he would demand extra in a free transfer though.

I know Frenkie earns an unreasonable amount at Barca, unreasonable both when he arrived and even more so now. However, I didn't know he "makes quite a bit more than Haaland". Assuming that's true, and I'll gladly take your word for it, it's quite stunning. Wow!

Haaland should have won Balon d'or a couple of seasons ago and with how he is going right now will probably win one for this season

If Pep is going to leave at the end of the season and City will win another EPL, what reason he has to stay at City?
He already won 3 EPL in a row, without Pep there chances of winning the UCL are getting lower[even that they won with Pep only 1 UCL in 7 years].
Also, he and his dad said that they wanna try out all of the league.
1 more important thing is that Ballon d'Or, the last EPL player that won it was CR7, and before that was Owens[In 32 years of EPL, only 2 players from EPL won while at the same time 18 players from La liga won it] So coming to Barca will increase is his chances of winning it.

Let's also not forget that at the end of the season we will get a verdict of the 115 FFP of City.

»-(¯`·.·´¯)->WE ARE 3-4 MATCHDAYS INTO THE SEASON IN SEPTEMBER<-(¯`·.·´¯)-«

We've reached absolute nuclear meltdown status where we hand out Leagues, CL trophies and 2025 Ballon d'Or awards with the season barely having started.

    Absolute comedy.

City are notorious for being early strugglers. Haaland's biggest obstacle right now is Pep and taking him out before being to score more goals. He and City have hit the ground running from minute 1. They'll obviously not win every single game but with how everyone else are struggling how he does right now will weigh very heavy later on. We should now given Bellingham was crowned balon d'or winner already in December.

He might get injured or use Pogba's testosterone cream in two weeks, then the entire prediction falls apart. It's absurd to use a marginal sample size of 3 weeks to project 9 months of football.

Perhaps but I think Vini and Bellingham have shown last season that you don't have to have 9 months worth of top performances to be shoe in for the award. City will obviously win the league and I reckon he will be front runner whether City wins CL or not just by beating on the EPL teams which is not entirely foreign given he has made it his stomping ground for the past nearly 3 seasons.

Bellingham went from being called the best player in the world to being considered a crocked prima donna that even players on the England squad had a couple things to say about.

I don't see how he supports your case. After the Euro Bellingham checked out of winning individual awards.

If it wasn't for a renewed will to give Rodri a "legacy" balon d'or the award would've been between 2 teammates which is unlucky for both who had a half of so and so performances and one half of other worldly peformances. Haaland with how he is going is the front and centre of City's quest for trophies. And given he was robbed of a balon d'or before you best bet he will be a shoe in for the award.

I maintain that I think Haaland will win the next balon d'or if City win the league and make at least the semi in the CL.

So you're saying between Bellingham being a lock for Ballon d'Or and actually winning the award, other things happened which led to Rodri becoming a favorite.

Incredible how this is exactly what i've been saying.

We haven't even seen the 2024 winner and you have the 2025 winner locked in. Pretty funny.

Man this guy can be a tool on social media

Talking about it doesn’t feel right for an Argentinian coach to celebrate the goals when he coaches another country

    what a moronic take

Barca press very high. Girona hardly hold the ball.

Totally different approach than what we saw last night. Girona can barely get out of their own half.

This is why I wrote yesterday that it’s relate to Carlo. We can kill teams and win 3/4-0 if we press hard and won’t let the rival hold the ball more than 2-3 passes. But we don’t do it. We give the rival team to play and attack
