Ireland recruit a lot of English born players with Irish grandparents from English academies at 15-16 (before the are ready/selected for England Youth National teams) like they did with Grealish and Rice. I understand they think they are snakes but it’s a consequence of this practice and it’s very hard to turn down that opportunity especially for someone like Rice who’d just been released by Chelsea when Ireland came calling.
Immigration in the 80/90s, general globalization and the arms race of nationalized immigrants in the national game most likely due to France's success in 98/2000/2006.
You can't blame them; everyone wants to be part of a more successful team. Imagine Bale played for England.
Sure, but risk Dani against Switzerland. 🔵🔴 Dani Olmo returns to Barcelona, as he’s not included in the squad for today’s game against Switzerland. No serious injury but Spain staff decided not to take any risk. pic.twitter.com/OYM88iLFwT— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 8, 2024
You know players can say they don't feel fit to play? If Dani's healthy, why should our injury situation in Madrid matter to them?
Chelsea situation coul ddrastically change, breaking story: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c4gz5jg81d0o https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...oehly-behdad-eghbali-relationship-breaks-down AS calls it an "earthquake" for the club
Apparently the reason they fell out was over valuation. Boehly thought the club was worth around £3 billion so he made an offer of £150 billion to buy out Clearlake’s share. Clearlake value the club at £3.5 billion so they want at least £500 billion from Boehly.
As there's no watchable football on right now, I decided to check Segunda División's standings and was happy to see Zaragoza at the top of the table. Could this be their comeback year? I certainly hope so.
Arda is a cut above. He is so damn good. If Carlo gives him a proper chance he'll nail a starting position in no time 🇹🇷 Arda Güler vs Iceland:• 90 minutes• 1 assist• 64/70 passes completed (91%)• 4 key passes• 1 big chance created• 6/7 long balls• 3 shots• 4 duels won• 3 dribbles completed Playmaking MASTERCLASS! 🔝⭐️ pic.twitter.com/2p2X3nMyKV— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) September 9, 2024
Iceland is like playing a Segunda side. Also Carlonhas given Arda a "proper chance" and I believe will continue to do so. It's up to Arda to take those chances like last season.
Would only matter if this was his only impressive game. He had done this everytime he's been a starter whether against Iceland or Netherlands
🇧🇷 Vitor Roque: “It was 6 or 7 months that I wasn’t so happy!”.“I can’t hide the smile right? I’m happy. Happy for the goal [with Brazil], the win, the training...”.“I joked with the players and the backroom staff that I laughed more this week than in the past 6 months”. pic.twitter.com/nZFsHxs613— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) September 10, 2024 Dude sounds like a girl that left a toxic relationship hahahaha
1833262932374745582 is not a valid tweet id Can't let this one slip through the cracks.... Jude / Arda Tchou / Fede That's the midfield.
