No chance anybody is working on any transfers right now. There is just too much uncertainty and too much to figure out just to pay current wages etc etc. Who can even reasonably project revenue or anything right now.

I expected the Pogba rumors to come back. It is not a secret that he wants to leave, and he has no place to go. So what else can journalists write about?

PS: Neymar's issue with PSG also has not been resolved. It would be Real Madrid or Barcelona again and again.

60M changes things. Albeit then what happens with Valverde and Odegaard? Not to mention Camavinga who should be crucial signing.

in those last two weeks, Raiola has thrown almost every single high profile client at us. Haland, Pogba,de Ligt, i'm sure by next week it will be somebody else.

POGBA can only go Juventus if they get rid of players or save money somewhere as his wages are huge and his agent will demand a fee, not sure where else he could go

I doubt we have any serious interest in de Ligt after such shit season. As for Haaland and Pogback, it is the contrary considering we have major issue upfront while Pogback being Zizu`s wet dream for years.

The Pogba articles are the same empty threats we've seen in the press for years. Could execute this clause, and that clause. We all know that Florentino won't upset anybody by triggering a clause like that, any deal we do will be over the negotiation table, and we haven't behaved in a brash manner since Calderon left. Even with Illarramendi and Kepa, both playing at clubs that are relatively opposed to what we do as an institution, we sat down and after discussing it, agreed to pay every single cent of the transfer.

Florentino Pérez is currently leaning more towards the Norwegian Haaland, who has been amazing everyone since his arrival at Borussia Dortmund. There is even talk of a possible swap for Jovic who has not met the expectations of Los Blancos. Without losing sight of Lautaro, Real Madrid now bets more on the Norwegian.

The industry should take the opportunity of this financial crisis and eliminate agent transfer fees altogether.

Agent transfer fees is the biggest scam in the entire sports

Pogba is great anr all but I wouldn't take him even at 60M. Only if Odegaard and Camavinga are ready to be loaned for 2 more years and if we would play 4 middlefielders.

    Pogba
    Kroos-Case-Valverde

Then in 2 seasons Odegaard and Camavinga rolling in and adapting.

Doubt we get Pogba now that time has gone, we may get another midfielder or keep Modric as fifth/sixth choice
    Casemiro
    Valverde
    Kroos
    Camavinga
    Odegaard

For 60M i would take him. And then worry after how to make it work with Casemiro, Camavinga, Kroos, Odegaard, Valverde and Pogba.

    Dope midfield imo.

Which directly answers some posters who questioned current policy.

Now when we add Mbappe hammer in a matter of two years, it will become even better. Nicely balanced strategy.

I've read they won't allow Neymar to leave either. That would be good news for us. They will have enormous pressure come 2021 with both of them on the books for only 1 year.

Agents need to be paid for their work. It isn't the fee it is the fact there aren't regulations so it has been allowed to balloon insanely.

All UEFA has to do is limit agent fees from transfers to 5% of the player contract (wages, not transfer amount) and watch how those transfer values plummet.

Agents should be paid by the guy who they represent. Not by the club.

Since we aren't going to go for Neymar we need his ass to stay in Paris.

Even more reason for this season to be canceled. Gives the illusion they could win it all so Neymar would be more open to giving it another go for next season.

As I said before; Neymar goes to barca? GG La Liga 2021.

Apparently there will be clear outlines about the next transfer window in the next few days. Contracts running out, renewals, protections, etc.

Broski that's what I was inferring by 5% of the players wages.

That's how the league does it here but the percentage is less.

In many cases agents are getting paid for transfers of players they don't even represent. For "creating a line of contact" or "assisting in setting a price".

More infos leak about the new transfer guidelines.

    1. Until the season is completed, no transfers are allowed.
    2. Clubs have to renew all ending player contracts to the end of the season. Whenever that may be.

So what they are doing, is forcing federations and clubs into playing out the season as quick as possible to be able to handle business. Basically weaponising the transfer window to force teams back into the field as soon as possible.
