It's a new trophyless season, but same rules still apply:

Pellegrini is being treated awfully by Real - but that is not news for the Merenques. You're backed and then you're sacked - the Real Madrid credo! If and when Mourinho goes to Real he will get the same treatment unless he gets a lot of protection in his contract. That is probably why he isn't already the manager - the lawyers are arguing over the contract

That and the 18 million buyout clause he allegedly has at Inter.

Oh, it's back here now? meh

Hell LPBers, even your basketball team sucks. I'm surprised FlorentiNO (as in, NO trophies) hasn't lured LeBron to the Vistalegre yet.

Thank God you treat all your staff well. I mean it's not as if you tried to ship off your best ever player to Uzbekistan, now, is it?

At least Laporta ensured that the secretaries get perks.

Point taken, And ok, perhaps we are not perfect, but surely the fact that our shirt sponsor is UNICEF, to whom we donate 1.5 million euros a year to as part of a five-year agreement, also gives FC Barcelona a very positive light

you get what I mean, i.e. the closest thing to what is possibly perfect.

All the money you give to Unicef goes back to underprivileged, malnourished and exploited little kids like Messi and Pedo anyway. So it all probably evens itself out, in fact you probably make a profit.

It is ironic that elclassico two goal scorers were product of Barca's youth in the name of messi and pedro , good invesment

Somebody explain to this chump what "ironic" means.

By the way, it's not just going to be me who is gonna be slapping you Cules with the funny stick next season. Jose might join in the fun if we decide to let him grace our pitch again, like he graced yours this season. Here are a few of his finer quotes:

Florentino will pay him 10 million € per season.

Madrid signs him to put an end to Barça’s hegemony.

    Two winners with different style.

    Arrogant – Diplomatic

    Rude – Polite

    Provocative – Discreet

    Defensive football – Offensive football

I assume you talk about your car stereo thief lot on the left. Man, you must be really proud of your club's political leader. The only thing Laporta hasn't done yet is beat up the poor children selling tissues on the traffic light stops.

He was talking about Guardiola, not Laporta.

Mou: If I sign for Madrid is to live new experiences…

Florentino: Sure! Madrid can offer you something completely new! To not win any title in a whole season!

You do know that you support a team that starts Busquets just because he's Catalan? Yaya Toure is way better then him and yet Busquets starts every game.

Supporting a political club doesn't make you a saint you know...

Yaya. Reads the game better , solid defensively, more powerful going forward, better at shooting.

Sergio has really nice vision, good skill and can pass a ball exceptionally wel

Sergio is quick passer and that is what we need , Barca's silky football

Only thing silky about Barca is the underwear of the prostitutes your club president hires (and then wonders who stole his computer).

This weekend saw the end of an incredibly entertaining drama that left observers more than a little confused: the hero's amazing efforts are rewarded by joining a bunch of nutjobs in purgatory, and they're all happy about it???!?

But enough about Mourinho joining Real Madrid, anyone catch anything good on TV last night? :D

That's older than Charlie Chaplin's first movie.

    I don't mind, everybody makes mistakes. :D

If you're clever you'll find somebody who said something like that about Madrid and then went on to give his heart to Barcelona, then you got something.

Being proud that someone that loved you now hates your guts isn't something to be proud of but hey.

morinoho dont hate barca , Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to win the title in all of Europe's top leagues. Real now remains his only option

At Madrid the battle would be slightly easier and the ammunition to win it more plentiful. ‘Just improve on six years of failing to reach the Champions League quarter-finals and be better than Barcelona

Better then Barcelona for 90 minutes .. a once in a lifetime event
and intermilan are the lucky ones
