Train wreck? Train wreck? (sound it like Jim Mora "Playoffs?")

Let me be among the first to stand and salute this effort. This is brave stuff from HSG. This may be old hat to Chivas and Pumas and many Mexican teams, but its is a bold new venture from the kiddie loving, sound-effect infauated HSG we have seen in KC and Columbus.

Greg Elliott - I want to shake your hand. And I also want to be judge...Really.

This is tacky ! I can see it now tool chick in spandex top w/ her bossoms pouring out wearing shorts w/ half her arse showing and in pumps in center circle asking the ref "Which side of the coin is heads again?" or "que lado es cara?"

I see your point. That had not occurred to me - but maybe she walks out there in a flowing evening dress.

There are many detractions of our sport in the US. Adding poor taste does not enhance the product. It all depends how this is handled... I would not be concerned if FCD FO was running the show but it is some professional outfit and tools are involved. I do not know if you have ever been to an auto repair shop and witness the myriad of tasteless, tacky posters & calendars whose "models" appear in nothing but a band aid holding some "tool" covering their privates and not in flowing evening gowns. I have no objection to this type of marketing being directed to the people that apply their craft at such places, but I would have hoped that my beloved FCD would have higher aspirations and standards of decency. Perhaps I'm getting carried away and the "contest" of femmes will be a classy affair instead of wanton women slithering all over a tool box. :)

I'm pretty sure that his judging that would leave him about 50% poorer.
