I think the sizing is similar for me but 0014のBlog says go half a size up. http://blog.livedoor.jp/shoishi0014/archives/9654831.html

I haven't been in a store recently, if I go into one soon I will try them on and let you know.

I'd trust @derbyyank13 more than Kohei'sblog if only because Kohei likes to go half a size down for his leather boots to stretch them out sometimes! I've been burned a few times cause i didn't realise that and got my shoes half a size too small when i was looking at his reviews!

    Cheers man!

Kohei does like his boots tight. Very similar to the way I like them but I think sometimes he gets them too tight. Which is saying a lot coming from me!

Like I said I'll try and get up to Niigata city soon (where the closest SS Kamo is) and try them on.

    yea ditto.

could you also try on the destaque 6s and Athletha TFs when you have the chance? might get a pair for indoors next year and i don't wanna risk teh wrong size like i did with my athletha TFs, which i love but are too damn tight when i went true to size. ugh.

I actually almost bought the destaques instead of my Morelia indoors. I wear 8.5 in both and 8.5 in Morelia Neo2. Half my team wears the destaque for indoors.

I'll be on the lookout for the Athletha TFs

Been playing for many years and only recently have I been able to try MIJ Mizunos. They are some of the best boots I have ever worn and are extremely comfortable. You can see and feel the quality the moment you take them out of the box!

Apologies that I never got back to anyone on sizing!! Sorry!

I'd go for the Destique turfs over the Athletica ones. Seems true to size for me at least.

    interesting. why!

depends, if you want cushioning - go for Athlethas. If you want something more low profile, get the Mizuno Morcindas Pros.

unless you can get an older model, the destaques 6 turfs that you find (current models) are all artificial leather. They're not bad, but they're not k-leather nice.

Quality of the shoe is slightly higher to me in the Destaques. Plus, it is literally the most popular futsal and turf shoes here. Almost everyone on my outdoor team wears them for futsal. I just like the overall feel of the shoe better. Though I haven't felt the brand new Athletas that just released.

What do you hear? I think they are trying to raise money for a comeback.
Someone told me they are selling the gold for a round 450-500 dollars to raise money.

Yeah basically that. Here's a link to their funding page. Only 300 pairs of the black available and 10 pairs of the gold. http://route-f.com/project/s/project_id/6

They look nice and would love to get my hands on one but can't justify the price.
Will see what the Japanese bloggers say about them :)
