I hope to hear the non ManU biased broadcast...

(which I guess could only be heard in Israel).

That's not a big deal. Games are on ESPN Latin America. Nevada Smith simply shows the games from a Mexican DBS. Lots of people in southern California/Texas get these systems, thus the games.

Nevada Smith's schedule is exactly ESPN Latin America's schedule. The problem is, by advertising the games on their web-site, they are asking for trouble. ESPN can easily tell them to cease or desist...

I believe this service is no longer free.

I suspect this is the same deal that Turkish channel DFH did a few years ago. An ethnic channel tries to sneak in a CL game broadcast outside of UEFA. As soon as ESPN Intl. finds out, you can kiss it goodbye.

Not necessarily true. The rules from UEFA have changed this year and the broadcasting rights can be resold by ESPN. Setanta have already reached an agreement with ESPN to show the Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle games to pubs via Setanta's closed circuit system. They start showing next week. So The Israeli Channel should be able to keep broadcasting Maccabi games as long as they have paid the fees to the original rights holder - ESPN. We should know next week if this was a one-off game or a permanent deal for the next 5 matchdays.
