what kind of scroll mouse doesn't have a ball?
maybe I'm confused .....
no ball in the bottom. one little ball on top to scroll up ,down, left, right.
oh, well something simliar happened to mine.
try turning it upside down, and shaking any crumbs out of it. get your finger a little wet and clean the ball. while holding it upside down just spin the ball a bit quickly to dislodge anything in there that might be holding it up.
it worked with mine.
best of luck.

I actually dipped a Q-tip into rubbing alcohol and rolled it around the ball. Worked fine after that.
when i burn cd's is there anyway to encode the cd with the song titles? i was hoping to get them to show up on my cd player in the text mode...
You probably need a disc creation application like roxio or something. Are you making your cd's with iTunes? If so I'm surprised that iTunes doesn't actually do that. If you're not using iTunes, try that first, if not try roxio toast (which normally costs money, but you can likely find a demo online).
Slight change in topic here, but is anyone else excited for Macworld next week? I've never paid much attention, but this year I just happen to be buying a new laptop, and supposedly there will be some big notebook announcements this year.
thanks. i am using itunes. i thought there'd be away to do it or it would do it automatically as well, but as of yet i haven't found it. am i calling it the right thing,"encoding"?
open "itunes" >Preferences > Advanced > Burning > Include CD text
