We used our neice's Mac for my son's video homework project. Now, we're trying to get the file to a format we can see on a PC. She only has a CD writer. My nephew copied the file to a CD, but we can't read the disk on our PC. I looked into programs that allow you to read a MC disk on a PC and tried a demo version of one. The PC didn't recognize the disk.

I confess, I've stayed out of this project and haven't witnessed any of the stuff they've done. I think the file is too big to email as it seemed to have timed out on my nephew when he tried it last night.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking we might need to try YouSendIt or something like that.

Could we put that video on an iPod?

    Thanks

You need to go into iMovie (I'm guessing you edited on this) and do "File -> Share" and then find the appropriate settings.

What you're trying to read seems to be a program file for the video editor; you need to make a standard (ie .avi, .mov, .mwv, etc.) video from your project, and that will run on a PC.

I will try that. In the meantime, I think the iPod should would to move the file from MAC to PC. We couldn't read the CD on the PC, so there wasn't an option to even tell what kind of files we had.
