Morocco Can definitely score against us as they have good players offensively but you really think they will neutralize us 90 minutes? Our midfielders technically and tactically superior to their won't take advantage at all of the spaces they give?
I doubt it. We won't play the match at the rhythm they want. We will foul when needed slow thé rhythm when needed and wait they frustrate enough to make the mistakes that open thé pitch.

Then not you but in général people make too much conclusions from a last friendly with mixed teams in which players avoid the contacts most of the Time. We will have more intensity once the tournament starts, more agressive.

 

I go full throttle for Morocco to surprise. Croatia at times lack cutting edge in the final third. I just think Croatia might have a bad day.

 

It won't bé a surprise anymore as many people these last days are taking Morocco over Croatia. And our team knows that they talk with their families Friends etc they are not in jail.
Croatia scored 3 goals against Spain with a weaker team than this. 2 against Denmark 1 in France. 3 in Austria.
How much should they score?

Modric knows Hakimi from Madrid and morroccan players from Liga, Sevilla..Kovacic knows Ziyech, Majer knows Aguerd...
They know who they are facing...they won't play this match thinking they are playing North Korea.

 

Guys, did I do dirty on AFC by not picking a single Asian team to advance?

Yes, Asian football as a whole has progressed over the last 20 years but the way the groups are set up and taking some off-field issues for a certain team into account I just don't see an Asian team making it out. It would be a pity.

It would continue that odd pattern of AFC doing well only every other World Cup.

Yeah there is no logic in football. A team can totally dominate its opponent yet end up losing.

Croatia are almost never involved in high-scoring affairs. So, it makes to me little sense to go for that.

 

Hum my point is that i think you underrate our offensive players and overrate Morroccan midfield and défense.
To beat our team they will probably need to outscore us. If you don't see a high scoring match then a 2-1 is possible yes. But i don't think they will be able to prevent us from scoring.

 

Our team upfront is not Mbappe Benzema Coman etc WE are fully aware of that but prevent all of Perisic Kramaric Pasalic Vlasic Majer Orsic Budimir Petkovic Livaja Modric Brozo to score at least one in 90 minutes is harder than it seems.
