Not even Zizou or Mourinho could make Mazatlan champions, no mamar, Janey, just say you hate the guy and that nothing he’ll ever do will be good enough in your eyes.

press was reporting that Piojo was gonna get the call. Apparently de Luisa was close to firing him after the Jamaica game

The midfield is worrisome. HH an Guardado can be on the bench this last go but someone else should be playing midfielder

It was the right call but a call CONCACAF refs have fvdked up in other CONCACAF matches particularly against nads... maybe someone at FIFA realized that a cash cow was in danger at last minute and orderd them to call it fair...

Well then Tata shouldn't leave him on the bench like against Costa Rica.

Relying on a ref to make the right call?

    Ok

Getting Chaka, Gallardo, and Moreno is a start, which is a Tata problem since he loves that experience. However, the other issue is our slow ass midfield.

Unfortunately, I don't know how this NT can still play a 4-3-3 with all the slow ass midfielders we have. It worked before when Guardado and Herrera could cover so much ground both on defense and offense, but now both barely move. That's why it's tough to blame everything on Martino sometimes. All of our attacks have to be relied on wing players and fullbacks because the CM's can't create anything.

If this post didn't come from the biggest Homer in all of Big Sawker, I might take it into consideration...

It’s too late for this cycle but they should have given la Chofis a try, anyone that has not been on this NT since 2010

both Santi and Rúlas play better in a two striker formation and I doubt Tata makes that adjustment

    Corran a Martino.

Es un asco el trabajo de este señor.

Con este técnico nos vamos en fases de grupo sí o sí.

I understand your point, but I ALWAYS want them to win. Even if it’s against St. Vincent. I despise how things are run. I think it’s a waste of natural resources and almost criminal what they do to a largely economically disadvantaged fan base, but this is the only team I really care about. In the end I will always want the W and suffer the losses.

Given that he's not seeing minutes in LaLiga, he's potentially more dangerous as a weapon off the bench... he should have gone out on loan tho...

Sad part is that Cordova took a dip in form and didn't go to Europe. Same thing with Charly and Romo. We needed those guys to move abroad and play in a league where they had to improve their conditioning so it could translate to the NT. However, they all stayed in the slow ass league in Mexico where players barely run. Midfield is a huge weak spot right now.

Of course. But FIFA counts on FMF and Mexico fans for money... can you imagine their profit margin difference if Honduras or Panama made a WC over Mexico?

Is Guti injured? Guardado being a starter in 2022 says it all.

    Romo is shiit.

    I still want Tata out.

Edson and Guti, both of whom have been playing well in the Eredivisie. I had my doubts on Guti but these past 2 months he's been playing well and improving. Also been indisputed starter so far in PSV.

Having a slower midfield than Guardado and Herrera would be hard to top.

... but I think Guti and Edson may just be even slower.
