They deviated from their norm. I'm thinking about and looking at the situation at hand in a different way than you. I forgot how much smarter and superior it made you to predict the same thing over and over again. That's my bad.
God forbid you consider reasons for that deviation. Chelsea are on the beach now. Checked out. Thinking of their futures.
To be fair, it was a legitimate issue at the time but he's shown that he could do it and do it well. As for signing Firmino, meh.
Firmino has done okay at pool. Not a KdB but he cost half that and helped bench tesos Liverpool lover.
Firminho will get better with more games, I am still unsure about KDB but he is having a good season.
There is little doubt that Firmino has proven a decent buy, and it stands to reason that he should get better as time goes along. But Syed, what are you not sure about with De Bruyne? It's not like the season he's having with City is a fluke as he did the same thing last season with Wofsburg when he was the POTY in the Bundesliga. Furthermore, we've seen how Wolfsburg (at least in the league is not as strong as they were last season) and City's recent upturn in form, which somehow coincides with KDB's return, are both not happenstance either. Especially for his first season on a club like City and in a new league, it's safe to say he's done remarkably well and just like Firmino, every reason that a lot more is to come. He was also injured for quite some time and that didn't seem to slow him down at all.
Still not sure he is worthy enough to play 10 for a club going for trophies, neither City or Wolfsburg are/were anywhere near challenging for anything despite City being in CL semi. Guess we will see next season.
His output (16 goals, 10 assists in all comps for City) suggests otherwise especially this season when he was injured for a reasonably long time and along with Aguero was the club's best player this season: not really his fault that guys like Toure, Silva among others were nowhere near where they were suppose to be. Not only that, but it's pretty obvious that City's biggest issues were not in the offensive part of the field.
Also Totti rescued a point for Roma late and put another chance on a plate that Džeko squandered. Bad result given Napoli's loss yesterday and the fact that Roma were comfortably leading two nil.
West Ham in typical fashion didn't get the memo and are coming after Leicester, who themselves are doing what they do as well. Could have a good hard nosed and hard fought game in store.
13 seconds from end to end there ... outright freightening and really forcing on the opponent players that even the tiniest lapse of concentration is punished severely
So Vardy and Kane are leading the Premier league goal scoring charts this season. One would think that's good news for England but no...Hodgson is stupid and will start Rooney regardless of how shit he is..
Rooney is one of the most overrated players for a looooong time ... not saying he's bad, but he's no where near as good as many idolizes him to be, (if he was, he'd had won Ballon'or more times than Messi was nominated) and certainly not a player than you can build up a team around
Slaves Bilic does deserve alot of credit for the job he's done with West Ham this season and with a couple of smart buys in the summer, they might keep on making some noise at the top of the league next season.
