As I've joined the youth soccer coaching ranks, I couldn't get down to Saturday's game.

Are the lunch bags/coolers/whatever any good?

If they are good, would they stand up to being used by a 5 year old?

Is anyone willing to part with one for a reasonable fee? PM me if you can help.

    Thanks

    Tony

I want one too, and I was at the game! Only one member of our party snagged one (though it looked as though some people had managed to grab a half-dozen or so). I didn't see anyone handing them out, and they were definitely the best promo this year.

I gave mine to my nephew when I got home, and he was excited as ever! He immediately called my brother and told him he didnt need a new lunch pail for school this year, because I had brought him a Quakes one. He didn't like the honda logo too much, but he said he would put a bunch of Yu-Gi-O stickers over it. *shrugs shoulders*...then again, he's only 6!

The real question is why didn't these lunch coolers find their way onto the field after the 3rd goal was scored/!

I have a six year old and a five year old and they take lunch to school everyday. We went to the Quakesvs. DC United opener in April and received the lunch coolers. My wife and kids love them. Try calling the Earthquakes ticket office and see if they have any left over.

Night of the flying lunchboxes! :)

I think the lunchboxes are cool. I used mine today, everyone says I am Quakes obsessive. I take that as a compliment. Should have been there...awesome game and cool giveaway.

    Go Quakes!

Glad the lunchboxes didn't "take a flyer" at any point on Saturday. They are definitely a keeper. The advice to call the Quakes' office and ask if there are any left over is good. If they don't have any more, perhaps they will be inspired to order more for a later date this season since the response has been so positive.
