Luis Silva at FC Honka (Finland)

Silva hasn't been seen in months. A real shame, he was a great player in MLS. Can @bshredder do so digging here?

He was pretty average. I watched him for DC. look at his stats.

 

Agree with superdave. He always showed promise, and would do some really good things, then a gust of wind would blow on him and he would be injured. It seemed to me that he had some real talent, but he was made of glass.

 

Like I said a few months ago, he will never play, but should be happy to practice with great players all while still getting paid.

 

So Tigres just finished their Clausura by losing to Monterrey in the first round of the playoffs. I can't find any game that Luis Silva even made the bench for.

 

I don't think Luis Silva is in the LigaMX database, which is very curious.

Silva has been spotted in preseason training for Tigres - so he is still alive (and with the team). Reports said he played "defense".

Really appreciated it.

So did his college coach at UCSB who asked me if I knew his whereabouts.

I miss watching him play. Hopefully he can gain some minutes next year.

 

Silva has been with Tigres' U20 team early so far this season, starting both games. He scored yesterday in Tigres U20's 1-0 win over América.

Silva finished the 2016 Apertura with four appearances for Tigres' U20 team, scoring one goal.

He made the bench for one Liga MX game and played in two CCL games.
