Another for LJS. That's 6 goals and 2 assists in eight league games.

    1-0 at Halftime.

Love this kind of goal because it's sheer confidence - everytime he sees the ball bounce in front of him in the box he thinks he can score. Keep building...

    Opportunistic goal.
We need more of that and it is difficult to find. Glad he is pouncing on mistakes.

But he scored in the CL mid week and has been scoring every game which is all I can ask.

When Falcao and Lucho were scoring in the same league on even more stacked teams we celebrated. So we should do it for LJS too.

Update: he had a couple of should be assists that were wasted and they gave up a brutal pen in the 97 minute a wasted opp as Benfica and Porto tied.

Braga is a team in European competition, not one of the weak portuguese teams.

90 minutes and several shots on target by no goals or assists in Sporting 2-1 win over Marseille in the CL.

    Played very well.

Great golazoo. Nice passes. Could have had a couple of assists if his teammates were more accurate. He has improved his hold up play with his back towards goal. Was very dangerous all game long with his shots and fake shots.

Once again, the only criticism I can say is that his heading is just not good. He wastes good crosses in the air with such weak shots.

He tried to pull off and almost accomplished a crazy move with a no look sombrero to himself...

The guy is feeling himself and I love it. Hope the goals keep coming for him and he continues building himself up!

Sporting won 2-0 today. No goals for LJS who had one taken away by VAR.

Pretty strange move. Whenever they play CL Suarez starts on the bench and some greek guy that hardly plays in the league gets to start.

Only thing I can think of is that it is work load management.

He has played a lot of minutes between club and country lately.

Juve is their biggest game.... unless they thought it was a lost cause.

Does not matter how big the match is.
They have the Portuguese League, domestic League cup, Champions League and he has played minutes for Colombia.

It may be taking a toll on him. Last season he was injured and basically played second division futbol.

Think it's very likely tactical. Suarez isn't a work horse type forward who you want when you're defending alot of the game in difficult games away from home, and those are the games the greek guy has started, he's a solid player too and then Suarez comes off the bench later in the game, Suarez starts all the games that they expect to go out and attack a good amount, away to Napoli and Juve clearly they are going to have to defend and counter alot.
