all he did was fall anytime a ball came towards him.... he needs to score in both games. He needs to get the pressure off himself against the two worst teams in the region

He had a header that hit the outside of the post.
    It was not all negative.

Anyway I feel that both Lucho and Suarez are in teams that have many sources of finding the goals so they can relax a little more than Yaser or Arias which is a relief.

    Im genuinely concerned for Wolves

If it's any consolation the very few times wolves are able to get going forward, they don't look half bad.

But it's so few and far in between. That and combined with their defensive fragility and the increasing competitiveness of the EPL is very concerning

Yeah... But it's Yaser or Arias we REALLY need to step up on the NT...

I don't worry about Arias though.

On Suarez it's all mental - I agree with Crzd that he defecated himself the last time Lorenzo gave him a shot, but he's earned himself another shot and hopefully comes in with confidence sky high coming from Sporting.

Suarez starting up top alone against Porto in a huge match right now. Consequential match.

If he scores here or helps Sporting win let him start this week.

Didn't score and they lost but was Abola's man of match for Sporting in their 1-2 loss to Porto:

    https://www.abola.pt/noticias/o-eix...pate-as-notas-do-sporting-2025083020292964192

A figura do jogo: Luis Suárez (7)

This will probably be Porto's best season ever now that we have colombians in both Benfica and sporting. Porto has to buy one too.

This should give him confidence and hopefully playing for Sporting where he will have so many opportunities to score will reinforce it.

The Portuguese need to work on his physique strength wise though as he needs to be able to command the area a bit more...

This is exactly what we wanted to happen though.

Another goal for our favorite poker player!

Scores the go ahead for Sporting to win 2-1 over Famalicao. Simple touch off a team move in the box.

No surprise that he is starting in the CL match today.
Hopefully he plays well and his team does not get upset like Benfica did the other day.

Shame but so long as he's being quite active and influential we will gradually seen them.

Winning a penalty is good I guess.

He played okay. Missed a few chances but at least took some shots on goal against a team who parked the bus.

The only criticism I will have of his game is that he does seem a bit weak in the heading department. I mean, when compared to traditional 9s. I usually do not like 9s that are not great at heading.

He's not a traditional 9, actually at times he played on the wing with club. He's more comparable to someone like Alexis Sanchez

Yup. That is why I said when compared to traditional 9s. I know he is not one of them which is why I think Cordoba may still be considered starter.
But we shall see. If he keeps on scoring goals and looking good with Diaz on counters then he will probably keep starting. Interchanging positions with Diaz as 9/false 9 may be the new way to go tactically.
