As mentioned in the DC united in Mexico thread DC United has brought in Luis Henriquez on trial. He is a Panama Under 23 national team defender.

This is a description of the goal he scored against the US U-23's in Mexico..

"Defender Luis Henriquez scored a screamer of goal four minutes later to make it 3-2 and game on. He made a long run and caught Countess off his line with a wicked shot."

Currently plays for Deportivo Arabe Unido (Panama)

Sounds like a wingback, not sure what side he plays on.....I'm thinking maybe a cheaper Milton Reyes?
anybody else have more info on him..or our other trialist Marlin Rojas?

lol, scary thought! Wonder of MLS ever got their Ferrari back?? :) We'd have to make the penalty boxes at RFK out of sand from all the diving that would take place between Luis Hernandez and Jamie Moreno.

Back on topic..anyone have more info on this guy??

Not easy to find info on this guy, but I did see that he also goes by Luis Enriquez in some of his team's match reports (Panama and Deportivo Aribe Unido).

My spanish isn't all that great, but on their National team site, he's listed under their U-23 team.. but it gives no data as to height, age, etc.
If you guys can find more info there, here's the url.

Also, it looks like his club team has been at the top of the table in 03-04, but I've only been able to find final scores on those game, no lineups. Also, in addition to his goal against the U-23s in Mexica, it looks like he scored in their 4-1 win against Nicaragua in qualifying.

Also, found some info from 2001 when a Luis Enriquez was playing for a "Sporting '89" team.

    1. Please don't compare Jaime Moreno to Luis "El Crapador" Hernandez.

    2. MLS bought "El Flopador" a Ferrari? WTF?

    3. I think Luis Henriques should be disqualified just for sounding like Luis Hernandez.

Funny...because I was thinking that this thread title was just a bad joke...combining Luis Enrique's and Luis Hernandez's names just to get people to see which one we're getting :).
