I saw in some spanish sites that barca is after a striker for next season, and the main options are luis fabiano, trezeguet and van der vaart, but fabiano would be the first choice. Looks like Riijkard even watched brazils match against Hungary in Budapest to see Fabiano skills, and said his game would fit perfectly to ronaldinhos. Fabiano even said to this site that he would rather prefer to play in barca than in real madrid. Everyone knows he is a superb striker, but do you, barca supporters, think barcelona would spend around 20 million dollars (what is his stablished price) on him instead around 15 million dollars (if Im not mistaken) in trezeguet? What do you think about his possible assignment? I hope it doesnt happen, São Paulo would lose much without luis fabianos goals.

i really wanted luis fabiono at barca, though a temperamental player he is definately the kind of marksman who will make the grade in any league in europe,he might head to the san siro for ac milan , hopefully he does play at the nuo camp, got to check his temper though, ac already have pippo, sheva, tomasson and borriela among others, even kaka can play as a supporting striker, but i know any team would like this young kid, he mightexplode like kaka.

Barca can only sign Fabiano once Saviola decides to leave or get an EU passport

BTW, Luis Fabianos price is at 10 million €, that how much its club want for the player (its president said so a weak ago for El munodeportivo). Barca want Trezeguet, if they fail with bid, they will bo for Fabiano. The problem is his nonEu status, again.

Fabiano will probably leave Brazil this summer, if Barca dont sign him, Milan will.

Saviola will have his passport by the beginning of the 2005-06 league - he is in the final stages of it. However, rumors are he may be traded, which I could see if Trezeguet and L. Fabiano both come as rumored (Fabiano would come in December once the Brazilian tournament ends). Sergio Garcia is also rumored to be loaned to another team should Saviola stay. And lets not forget Barca is also looking at Giuly, so the front line options could be (excluding 'Dinho): Saviola, Trezeguet, Luis Fabiano, Sergio Garcia at the 9 and Luis Garcia, Guily, Quaresma and Gabri in the wing. Some trimming is likely...

You don't understand. Why wouldn't Fabiano want to go Chelsea? With so few players, it shouldn't be a problem breaking into the first eleven. What? Oh... Well, they probably have a big weakness at the striker position, so he shouldn't have trouble getting time anyway. Who? I see... Well, who cares about that when he can be soaking up the sunny beautiful London after noons. Oh... never mind then.

I'm crossnig my fingers that he comes to Barca.

actualy not, 24 exactly as new coach said; they are going to sell players or loan out them

About problem with strikers in Chelsea: they have Chrespo, Mutu, Gudjohnsen, Forssel... so I dont see a problem with strikers here. If Chelsea signs new strikers, it will be a huge name like Shevchenko (they offered 50 million € + Chrespo). Dont worry, they wont sign Luis Fabino. Its to cheap and unknown for Abramovich. ;)
